JR West 681 series Electric Train Sound on the Hokuriku Line

In May 2023, as a valuable record before the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen extension to Tsuruga, I recorded the train window scenery and the sound of the train running from Komatsu to Kanazawa on the Limited Express Shirasagi. Based on the log data recorded using GPS measuring equipment, you can also check the speed and location of the train. At that time, the train was in recovery operation, reaching a top speed of 130 km/h! Please enjoy the powerful running sound of the 681 series.
For the synthesis of the video and GPS log data, I used the ‘VSD for GPS’ plugin for the video editing software AVIUtl.
