I asked him about the details told here and he said they’re true . These people had their own intelligence service, underground tunnel networks , weapons caches , etc . If anyone is interested in knowing more, I can ask him and I’d be happy to get back to you guys .

I can’t help but hear the same thing as how hitler got the party to agree. And then the people cheer. I hear similar statehood speeches, national security speeches, and immigration speeches. All used by Hitler to gain favor enough to have the same power as a POTUS. just listen to the trigger words from politicians. Then listen ti the people cheering. When I was in high school (in New Jersey over a decade ago) I tried to befriend this new kid from Chile. We sat next to each other, so we started talking and pretty soon I was like “Dude, you sound a lot more German than you do Chilean to me.” He smiled, looked around and over his shoulder, and then leaned closer to me and said “you know, you’re pretty smart, are you sure you’re an American?” I replied that I was, and he told me his great grandfather was from Germany. Me being the history nerd I am, particularly with regard to WW2 i had my suspicions. So I pressed him for details and assured him it would stay between the two of us. He reluctantly went on to tell me how his great-grandfather was a card carrying Nazi and member of the SS apparently. He confirmed it a short while later, when he brought some Nazi memorabilia and old family photo’s to school to show me. He was pretty proud of the whole thing, the way Americans are proud of their grandparents for fighting the nazis. I still find it hard to believe that he and his family made it from Germany to Chile to suburban New Jersey of all places. Just goes to show that your neighbor, classmate or coworker could be a Nazi descendant or sympathizer and most people would have no idea.

It happens a lot of Chile. We have a lot of memes of the importance of not asking blonde southern Chileans what their grandparents were doing in the 40’s and how the best kuchens and strudels are made from grandmothers who have Hitlers photos in their houses. If you add that to the fact that in Chile antisemitism is really widespread, apparently because we have the largest Palestinian diaspora outside the Middle East (in the past century hundreds of thousands of Christian Palestinians fled from the war in Israel, they build their communities here and Palestinian culture changed a lot of the Chilean culture), and if you add to the antisemitism the fact that our army still wears Prussian uniforms, they march like prussians and they have German songs like Erika, my fusil y yo (Märkische Heide), tenía un camarada (Der gute Kamerad) and that all the army and a lot of civilians sing those songs with pride while watching Prussian like military, you can surely say that Chile is a very unique country. Another fact is that the US basically forced Chile to declare war on Germany and Japan on 1945. I don’t know if we finally declared war on Germany, but we were one of the last countries in declaring war on Japan, 4 months before they surrendered. At least in my school, jokes about Jews and furnances were pretty common, as well as the swastikas in the walls and tables. I love my country but sometimes we are a little weird

@Altus Snow You have very black and white thinking. We let in a small percentage of bad people, after helping to stop the mass slaughter of jews and bringing the Third Reich down. Those people helped our country. I suggest you do some reading on Niccolo Machiavelli. The ends justify the means. It helped our country advance so it was the right thing to do. You can't avoid evil or doing business with evil people in the world. You minimize it. And that's it. Beyond that, if they are useful in reaching your goals, which are good, then it is justified. Furthermore, the Soviets were scooping them up right and left. So that would have left us at a disadvantage against a tyrannical Stalinist state. Not a good thing. It was the right thing to utilize them. Its like when you cut a deal with a mob guy. He's a scumbag, but for the greater good of bringing down the whole organization or getting the top guys, he walks. And its the right thing to do. THe ends always justify the means. In all cases. In everything in life. And who cares if the US Government is "corrupt"? You are directly benefiting from that? So unless you are willing to give up your lifestyle, you are complicit and are no better.
@tonyiacomi48224 жыл бұрын
@Altus Snow Do I know how many? Obviously I do. Pretty sure that's not a great secret dude You're not onto something that know one else knows. Pretty much every American knows that. We were taught that in Middle School history class for christs sake. . Your thinking is extremely paranoid. "The exact same thing?" Really? Let me know where those concentration camps in the US are where we have killed 6 million people. Then I'll agree its "the exact same thing." Otherwise you are greatly exaggerating to the point of being outright delusional. Um, the year is 2020. How is it relevant that Hitler was named man of the year by Time magazine in 1938? Before World War 2?

@Altus Snow You can keep saying "Naive" all you want, but it doesn't change the facts. You're just being an idiot saying that. So, answer the question Einstein. You said our government is "exactly the same" as the Nazis. So where are these concentration camps that are gassing 6 million people? Who cares if they were our "ally" in the 1930's on some level? They certainly weren't once the war started. Why do you fuckin' care if Hitler was on the cover of Time magazine in the 30's? And why do you even care if our government has done nasty shit like bringing in Nazi scientists? Its allowed us to be the world's hegemon for more than 1/2 century.

@@bushwhakked Yeah, I'm ready to listen to their stuff, not to be too sure I already 'know it all'. But so far the conspiracists reveal pretty soon to have holes in their theories. They are just so convinced by a few whispers of alternative explanations. Very often there is the fear behind it, that what about if 'the bastards' have lied to us. Won't say they haven't, to a degree. But most great evets in history have so much evidence. From many sources. Which doesn't stop from future generatio denying them. Like people won't to deny ugly truths about their own nation. Some Russians/Soviets want to deny or belittle the bad Stalin did. (Neo-)Nazis try to deny the Holocaust, and put all the bad in the wold on the neck of the international Jewish conspiracy. And when the generation who went through the war have mostly died out, the deniers have lifted up their voices. USA has it's own skeletons, but there's still much honesty around of their past. Ever since I was a young boy (around 4/5) and was first made aware of the World war 2, it took a strong grip on my young Autistic brain. The thought that there was a War involving so many nations with so so many casualties around 55 years before I was born was always insane to me. Since then, I’ve always been gripped on learning more on this war and what happened around the world during the aftermath of this war. The amount of things that we were never told, and possibly this is to hide the truth but this could also be people trying to understandingly trying to forget what happened. I’m always finding out new facts about this war to this day… I’m always watching documentaries or professional historians talk about this and it gives you a lot more information and perspective from all sides of the battles. So many unforgivable things done by so many nations including the allies. But the Nazis (specifically SS) were a different breed, pure evil, strong, high on amphetamines and other stimulants all the time. The standard German soldier, that had no choice but to fight for their demented leader, those are the ones who I hold sympathy in my heart for. A lot of the (Non-Nazi/Non-SS) German population had it so bad after the war, in their eyes they had to fight or meet the firing squad. They fought, lost families, friends and homes and then their country was Split up and controlled by the victor. Now I’ve said all of this, I find it disgusting that the most evil managed to flee away and not face any punishments for what they have done and even worse, continue to be evil. All whilst the German soldiers that didn’t want to war had to pay the price. I’ve heard a lot about German colonies in South America, but this video has taught me a lot more than I what I thought was going on there. The power and influence they hold in these areas is shocking and to think how many families are living off of that stolen Nazi wealth to this day! Really interesting video and I thought I would just give my take on this. May have took a while to get to my point, but with my Autism I had to say what was on my brain and how my own mind personally interprets this interesting and sad side of history. I know some people may not have any sympathy for any Germans that fought between 39-45 and I can understand that completely. As a War nerd I will happily accept some other people opinions and interpretations on this topic or the Second World War in general. Peace.

I was told that they reproduce themselves within cousins. They are very very rich and they live in the country side with their fancy technology. Ocasionally they would come to town to buy expensive electronic stuff and then they'll just go back to their colonies. In the late 1950;s to early 1970's Nasser was calling on Egypt to join a "Holy War" against Israel and the Jews. "On 20 May, Egypt’s ministry of religious affairs declared a state of holy war to liberate Palestine, while in Damascus defense minister Hafez al-Assad said it ‘was time … to take the initiative in destroying the Zionist presence in the Arab homeland.’[14] On 22 May, Nasser declared the closure of the Straits of Tiran to Israeli ships and cargoes - a step that changed the balance of power that had existed since 1956 and was considered a casus belli. On 2 June, PLO leader Ahmed Shuqeiri called on his supporters in the Haram el Sharif Mosque in Jerusalem to conduct a ‘holy war’ against Israel. In a press interview in Amman, Shuqeiri was reported to have said that only a few Jews would survive this anticipated war.[20]"

The “Skorzinski” man that Tim mentions was actually named Otto Skorzeny. Among other agencies, he was recruited by Mossad in the 1960s to find and assassinate former Nazi scientists. He certainly did a lot of bad things and initially aided Arab states, training commandos for example for raids into the Gaza Strip. Interesting and complex individual.

There's an interesting tv interview with Skorzeny where a journalist asked him if he was worried about the letter bombs and intimidation campaigns that were going on against Germans in Egypt at the time, and he just kind of smiles and says that he's not too worried and he can handle himself. Of course he was behind the whole thing.

My wife is from Peru. My heritage is German and Irish. When visiting Peru, its very similar to how this guy describes it. If you're a white guy and people in Peru see you, they view you as being at the top. They respect you simply for being white. But if you're dark skinned, they shun you. Very weird to see how brown skinned people in Peru or elsewhere can have this false view of racial issues and despise their own just for being brown.

You hit the nail in the head with your observation. Peruvians in general are very religious (catholic) and consciously or subconsciously put white skin as better that their own brown skin. These traits and their faults are on us, Peruvians have to develop their own history and make it less eurocentric and take into account the immense latest DNA and archeological findings as pertains Peru's first peoples going back 20 to 30 thousand years ago. Hopefully that will help to love and respect ourselves better.

I watched one episode of this guys show, it was ridiculous. Super blown out of proportion, and not mentioning anything which could counter their story line, even if it was a well known fact. The episode I watched, they went to colonia dignidad. Basically they were claiming that Nazis conspired to fortify colonia dignidad to hide hitler underneath it. Then they looked at all of the defenses and kept saying that this is all evidence of this thesis. They don't mention, at one point in this entire episode where they first introduce colonia dignidad, that colonia dignidad was used by the Chilean regime to hold political prisoners, which would explain all of the defenses which they uncovered. The guy who ran the compound, schäfer, made a deal with pinochets government, so that they could hold these people, and even torture them. Also people know about Nazis going to South America, at least in Germany they do today. Other fascists across Europe also went there, for instance Ustasha members. Furthermore, colonia dignidad wasn't really the pinnacle of Nazi culture in South America , as this guy describes it. A lot of its members came from Germany in the 1960s - the wave of serious Nazis has left Germany in the mid to late 40s. It's more of a weird cult. Even schäfer wasn't a strong Nazi, he only served in the Wehrmacht. He was more of a religious fanatic. There were some Nazis there, and it had some pretty fasischist ideas - but especially in regards to how religious it was, it was not really Nazi - and this guy paints such a simplified image of the situation.
@blaaaaaaahhhhkathi6 жыл бұрын
And a lot of the funds for colonia dignidad came from the donations of the religious followers, with which he bought the original place for his cult - in Germany - where he also received money from the state for running a Children's and Youths Orphanage/home. In 1961 the German state started investigations into the rape of two boys by schäfer. He then fled for Chile because of this, along with 150 Orphanage inhabitants who were witnesses for the crimes charged against him. His adult followers followed him soon after. The house in Germany was sold to the German state for 900 000 DM after this, money which schäfer used to set up colonia dignidad. He then also took on Chilean orphans. This is all terrible but is not that closely related to Nazism. This guy was more of a Charles Manson type figure. He had intense terrorizing techniques, because he was a psychopaths. He continuously raped kids because he was also a pedophile.

@blaaaaaaahhhhkathi3 жыл бұрын
@@rogerweatherman8349 I don't know enough about the History of Italian Fascists', but I would say that there was less of a need for them to have to leave Italy post WW2 (as opposed to certain Nazi's, and there it was mainly people who were either hardliners or had committed war crimes or worked in the concentration camps and with the croatian and hungarian Fascists I think it was mainly due to the change to communist regimes - but also because I'd say the Hungarians were more directly involved in the Holocaust, and the Croatians had their own genocide going on, whereas the Italian fascist regime mostly participated in the holocaust when it was a German puppet state, so post 1943 - btw the Allies were already in Italy in 1943, so if they migrated to Ecuador in the early 40's they might've also fled war, or increasing persecution under the German Puppet state) (as I said, I have very limited knowledge on the subject though).
