Now that I watched it over and over again, doesn't it seem like two members are actually one? The good and the bad? Jungkook is the one living, Suga is the one haunting him. SugaKookie That's what I think too. Jin was always the one we thought was left alone but after seeing this I'm starting to think that we might've been wrong all this time. Because if two members make up one at the end of the day, that means that it wasn't just Jin. No, *ALL* of them were alone then. 😮 Jimin is the one in the hospital by himself. And Jungkook is the one that seemed like he lost someone dear (possibly by fire) and that person is now haunting him in his nightmares over and over again... We'll see what comes next for Taehyung and Rapmonster. I think that's what we're going to see next at least, yeah...

THEORY!!! I think the black dot symbols at the end are something similar to the Rorschach ink blot test. Psychologists use this test in an attempt to examine the personality characteristics and emotional functioning of their patients. The robot hand represents a psychiatrist, who keeps showing him cards with different ink blots on it and asks Jimin what does it look like or remind him of. Now after the second card is shown Jimin smiles then his face falls, the scene splits back to when he was in a hospital bed next to J-hope ( as shown to us in the Run MV). Then he is shown another ink blot which looks like it has EVA written all over. Now Eva or Frau Eva is a character in the book ‘DEMIAN’ by Hermann Hess, the same book that Rapmonster quotes in the beginning. The protagonist in this book - Sinclair, tends to need validation by an older figure, and finds a mentor in Eva. Eva’s character also depended on her name that is similar to Eve, representing “the universal mother” .Now in the video we see that after the card with “Eva” is shown Jimin starts to remember J-hope (He stretches out his hand to the next bed and starts a pillow fight similar to his scene with j-hope in the Run Mv ). This probably means that J-hope was Jimin’s mentor or someone he looked up to. Then we move to a shot with pills in glass, which was what j-hope overdosed in the I need u mv. Jimin then takes a bite from the apple. Now the apple could represent the ‘forbidden fruit’. So J-hope probably tempted Jimin to make a bad decision and thus take a bite of the ‘forbidden fruit’, which might have led to his depression and him trying to drown himself in a bathtub. The 'forbidden fruit' probably had soemthing to do with a LIE.. Or it could be that the psychologist caught himin a lie. This theory probably makes no sense lol but I tried, I’m sorry you had to read through all this mess. XD Show less

I think your interpretation makes sense. To solve the puzzle you need to read the novel/ know the plot. "Demian" is a coming-of-age-story. The journey of Emil to become a whole person or finding his true self. A mission we all are given during our youth. Hesse is said to have based "Demian" on the principle of individuation and dream interpretation by the psychoanalyst C.G. Jung. Therefore Jungkook´s nightmare and Jimin´s therapy session itself would refer to the novel as well. Now I hope my thoughts make sense ;)

I saw on another theory that Eva could also mean Ave and it means, "Good bye." In the INU photoshoot Jimin's holding a burning note and if you zoom in on it with high quality you could see, "Bye bye" written on it and J-Hope's line in Run is, "Don't tell me bye bye." (And I think that J-Hope died of overdose, not just sleep. That's just my opinion, though.)

Some things i noticed: -Jimin would smile whenever the camera was on him but when it turned away he was emotionless almost numb. - Jimin woke up in a hospital bed similar to the one Jhope woke up to in i need u and jimin had the pillow fight by himself because jhope wasn't there unlike in run. -The pills in the glass reminded me of the pills jhope took in i need u. -The bath tub he fell back into was like the one he was drowning in - in i need u and the one from run. -The card on the word association test thing was of a circle we haven't seen yet, probably one of the next ones. -The dance he does where he grabs his throat is from save me. -The painting of the woods was similar to the aura set in Jungkooks teaser thing. -The first circle out of the four was of bird feathers like in jungkooks trailer. -The second circle was of the apple jimin bit into. -The third and fourth are yet too come which is why they are still whole. -What rapmon says at the beginning are from a old story Demain. That seem to similarly be portrayed throughout the MV's. In the story a character lies about stealing a apple. -Rapmonster has been seen on various occasions reading the story Demain. I think he had a lot to do with the making... Lastly, JIMINS SMIRK F*CKED ME UP xD I think all the boys are paired off so Suga and jungkook in begin, Jimin and jhope in lie and i think it maybe rapmon and v next and jin on his own but I'm not 100%. Sooo is Jimin in like a mental institution and they're trying to make Jimin feel emotions by showing the cards but he's trying not to let his guard down, because when they showed the first two cards in his mind he slowly starts to lose his control, but didn't until they showed that one car that said "Eva" and that triggered the emotion of when he tried to commit suicide because Jhope was in the hospital for overdosing. So maybe when they let him go back to his room, since they couldn't get through to him, he started going crazy (the dancing) and then the gun shot meant that they actually got to him.....or maybe Jimin was lying about being "mental" just so he could be in the same mental institution as Jhope because they're link together and that's where he finds his happiness, but maybe Jhope died and Jimin is actually starting to go crazy because hes playing pillow fight with "Jhope" just like the good old times in Run and I think he tried drowning himself again so he could be with..

My theory is that everyone is dead but Jin so the members who are dead are in their own world now. In this world they are looking back at the things they wish they haven't done. For example in Jungkook video the pics he look at looked like Suga if u remember the run mv they had an fight but they never showed if the fight got fixed or not so maybe it ruin the friendship they had and he regret to fixing it. With Jimin you see the pills that Jhope also had in the I need u mv and in the run mv there were seen with only him and Jhope. this shows just like JK and suga they were the closest to each other. There was a part in run where the both of them were in a jail type place. May jhope was mad at jimin for convincing him to do something to put him there that was why when he woke up to see jimin there he threw hie pillow at him as a to show he wants nothing to do with him and jimin regret ruining the frienship he had with him.

Did you guys notice how when the first short film Begin was released, the first circle out of the four had someone to do with feathers? And in this one, the second circle is changed into the apple. Notice that in the first film, only one of the circle represented something whereas in this video, there are two circles that change and the rest stays the same. I saw something on tumblr that was really interesting. Maybe there will be sorta sub units in the album with yoongi+kookie, jimin+j hope, v+rap mon, and some sort of Jin solo. It would make sense because kookie and yoongi had a connection in run with the fight and getting punched and all that, and jimin and j hope were in the hospital room and and had a pillow fight (jimin did that in this short film), rap mom and v were running from the cops together, and Jin seems to be the central character in this series because there were theories that he was dead and the others were alive or vice versa. Or like when they took the photo in the prologue trailer with the car and Jin disappeared from the photo.
