BTS and BH had access to volumetric military technology. It's actually used for stimulation testing so it's more solid and advanced than a stationary hologram (like mj's who used a screen) which requires light and a surface. So the amount of money they spent for this performance and just to replicate yoongi and include the highly programmed production is hundreds of thousands.

I just realized how much I can’t stand BTS being apart from each other or not being able to perform together, like I’ll of course respect that if being apart is their wish. But if it’s like injuries or stuff that they have no choice but to be apart. Kind of heartbreaking to see Yoongi not being there, of course I know he’s recovering and hope he’s recovering well, but I nearly cried when the hologram Yoongi appeared. I just hope the boys can stay healthy and stay together as long as they want.
