scimax - Jumping to locations in

This video shows how I use ivy and avy to jump to different locations in #emacs. We can jump to lines, words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, or to buffers, files, etc. with just a few keystrokes.

That gave me some ideas of possibly seeing if embark could switch the jump command to narrow from jump to char to jump to sentence, paragraph, or source block. I’m also finding occur is very useful for jumping and/or editing in place. I really appreciate the stepping through how you integrated these in scimax.

It seems I will be the last one to embark. so far ivy does everything I want, and is less confusing than embark (that is mostly because I have worked with ivy for so long). swiper and occur are also excellent options that I use a lot.

Watched some of your latest video's, they are great, but just a comment about the sound level as it is very low. Perhaps you can fix this? Thx, looking forward towards more video's.

Thanks for letting me know. I have been adjusting the sound level here and there to find a good setting that minimizes ambient noise. For me the sound is ok I turn the speaker volume up on this video.
