As far as I know for the spin-off you need: P5 Strikers P5 Tactica P5, P4, and P3 Dancing P4 Arena AND P4 Arena Ultimax Persona Q and Persona Q2 For mainline you likely need: P5 OG, and P5 Royal P4 OG and P4 Golden P3 OG, P3 FES, P3 Portable, and P3 Reload P2 Eternal Punishment(PS1), P2 Eternal Punishment(PSP) P2 Innocent Sin(Any version I believe) P1(PSP) and Revelations: Persona(PS1, You don’t have to do this one it’s pretty slow and doesn’t really match other openings in terms of music and visuals it’s very ominous) This is all based on memory so I might’ve missed one or two but I am confident I got them all

That thing with the MC using 2 persona at once It's his special Meter atteck which is based on the old Mechanic that was in the Original Fusion Spells which requires him to summon two specific Personas at the same time

True but in the original and fes you can use fusion spells whenever and even has more diversity than in reload but still love that he retained what makes him different because god knows i want them to return his ability to use any weapon

2:01 Actually yes, the P3 protagonist is one of the most powerful of the series and he is able to use two personas at the same time to create powerful fusion spells, the one he uses in this trailer is called Scarlet Havoc

Yeee about time g, everyone's been hopping on the Persona train since it's first trailer. I'd suggest you react to all the spinoffs aswell, but to provide some context when the time comes: Persona 1 has 2 games: the OG and a PSP remake. Persona 2 has 4 games: 2 OG and 2 PSP remakes. Persona 3 has 5 games: the OG, FES (re-release with additional content), Portable (PSP port with female protagonist option), Dancing (rhythm game, think like Just Dance) and the soon coming Reload (current-gen console remake). Persona 4 has 5 games: OG, Golden (PS Vita port with additional content), Dancing, and 2 fighting games. And finally Persona 5 has 5 aswell: OG, Royal (additional content), Strikers (Musou-like spinoff / sequel), Dancing, Tactica (strategy RPG spinoff), and X (gacha game spinoff on mobiles). There's also 2 chibi-style games (Persona Q and Q2 for 3DS) where it's basically like an Avengers assembled moment for the cast of P3, P4, and P5. This is the best cast imo. The way they grow together and bond is really unique and feels incredibly genuine and realistic. And the good thing about Aigis is she's a very important character, so you'll get to learn a lot about her!

The persona 3 cast is the only group (not counting P1-2, tho I think P1 counts as a group of friends who still remain friends even after high school and college which is super rare. And p2 is a bit of a special case) that feels like a found family. P4’s cast feels like friends brought together just by the fact it’s a small town and exist within the same vicinity, and P5 feels like trauma bonding.

One thing that makes P3 party members standout from the other series is that their character growth happens throughout the story, not only on their social link event or even their interaction with the protagonist. That what makes them shines more as an individual. That is also the reason why the developer of the original game decides to implement the "not fully controlled in battle" mechanic.

@@ma.2089 Well to be fair P3 MC is i indeed stronger than P1,P4,and P5 mc and he has extraordinary feats. but he only fight threat that endanger one world and that cost him his life to sealed Nyx. meanwhile Tatsuya defeat Nyarlathotep the lovecraftian creature with multiversal level threat. unlike Nyx, Nyarlathotep is full of misdirection and not above using dirty tricks and yet Tatsuya still won.

The interesting thing about the Persona users, why they fight, the reason for awakening to their power, and why they fight shadows is not cohesive. Unlike P5 where everything is linked, for P3 it's unrelated. Why they have the power is one thing, why they fight is another, and they are friends another... and then everything converges as the characters and relationships develop and the plot moves onward. It feels more like an odd collection of people band together solely because they are persona users and nothing else... only for them to end up as best friends and having a common mission, goal, and reasons to fight. Truly inspiring.

It’s party cuz P5’s circumstances are wholly different. In P5, the mc creates the group. Their group makes decisions for good or for worse. They come together due to bonding over individual trauma, and finding that point of similarity. In P3, they aren’t fully in control. The group isn’t made by the mc, they join it. These guys sort of exist as coworkers that come together as a family over shared traumatic circumstances. It’s interesting cuz P5’s themes are about standing up against powerful people, and taking back control over a situation. Hence the team is controlled by the mc. P3’s themes are about our lack of control of life, and making do with the little control we have. The group have their own lives and will call the mc, unlike P5. Hence why the team isn’t headed by the mc, unless reload decides to retract the autonomy of the rest of the cast with rewrites.

Okay, there's a LOT to unpack with these character trailers, and to be frank with many of them you're gonna end up with lots of spoilers, so it's really best to experience them in the game for yourself. However, for specifically Aigis (I think it's pronounced I-gihs, not E-jihs), if you really want to know about her, then Persona 4 Arena will make it clear (although it'll hit even harder once you've played P3). I won't say anymore, but trust me when I say... it's not a pretty picture being painted here.
