I gotta say, these character designs are adorable! This very much has "Vita game" written all over it, I feel like this was meant to be played on train rides and such rather than binged in long play sessions, big oof about the stability though, hopefully they can patch that out. I like the premise and playfulness, but this definitely looks like one I'll grab on a sale

Best voice on KZbin, we meet again 😄. Yeah, I saw this one on my Switch on sale and considered getting it but something about it JUST stopped me. This review kind of made me laugh because of the overt innuendo and fanservice on the screen. This is one that I'll probably check out next time it's on sale but definitely not in a rush to play.

It’s always great to see some of these games finally get localized. I enjoyed Moero chronicles H a good amount as I’ve grown to like the 1st person dungeon crawlers like Labyrinth of refrain:coven of dusk & the etrian odyssey games. Hopefully some of the other Genkai Tokki games comes to switch. (Monster monpiece, Seven pirates & Castle panzer.) Anyways, thanks for the review, Crystal is more of the same gameplay I enjoyed chronicles for, will get it down the line for now..

It’s a crying shame to see the era of fan service games die out over the years on consoles. So most of us appreciate the dedication for those willing to keep it alive. I'm torn. Waifu games are always so cringe to me, but I always enjoy games that have dress up/costume elements that you can earn and unlock through out the gameplay journey. Where are the fan service games with hot guys Lol the ratio is slighted. In any case, I don't see me buying this at full price, no matter how much I love the art style. I'll let it sit on my wishlist for awhile and hope a good sale comes along. Thanks for the review!

Great review! This is my experience with one of the earlier titles: Saw Moero Chronicles cheap on steam (like $2 or something), thought to myself "WTH, it can´t not be worth it, can it?". So started playing, crashed after 30 minutes, lost 10 minutes progress, started again, played for 1 hour, crash and lost 15 minutes this time, gave it another go, played for almost 2 hours, crash again and 10 minutes gone. By this time I thought to myself "WTH, this is not worth it!". Have not touched the game since, and even after so few hours played the humor and over the top fan service was already wearing thin. Would not be able to force myself to play it for 20-30 hours more.

Thank you! :3 Can completely understand! That’s a great price to get it at, but yeah, performance is important. I’m glad they seem to have at least improved on that experience in this one since I was able to actually get through this one. I think at least avoiding having those errors early on would give a better impression though :3

Thank you so much for doing a review of this! I'd seen it on the eShop but wasn't really willing to gamble on it... it just of screams, "Yet another anime-waifu dungeon crawler". Imagine sitting in on a board meeting where a game designer pitches an idea centered on recovering the Bra of Darkness and the Panties of Light... o.0 Anyway, another excellent review, as always. JRPG Jungle remains *the* go-to source for the genre. Your content is always on the high end of outstanding.

I bought this one when it came out as it was on offer but i havent had time to start it yet as i have such a massive backlog of games on the switch and ps4, thought it might be fun to have a few aimless laughs what with everything going on this year. Thanks for the review, a lot of games these days are pretty repetitive so i guess thats just something to get use to these days. Looking forward to getting around to playing it though.

I played it with the pro controller for my first 10 hours, it’s definitely possible. Touchscreen for the scratching is a lot quicker though (and nicer to your controller, I found I was hitting my joysticks quite hard cause of the time limits :3)

With games like these I usually give it a pass, but by the sounds of it the fan-service elements aren't just the main focus and it has solid gameplay as well. Looks like I'll be diving in like what I did for DOA and Senran Kagura.

Tbh with all the fanservice in this game idk why you'd play it. If you want a better dungeon crawler there's the etrian games. If you want an H-dungeon crawler there's Demon Master Chris and it's similar games like Sakura Dungeon or the Raidy games. It's a weird in between where depending on your tastes you're better off going with one of the extremes.

Yeah, this probably ain't my thing, ecchi fan-service doesn't really do anything for me. I'm not morally opposed to it or anything, but I rarely think it improves the game. And when the entire selling-point of this game is ecchi fan-service, I doubt it will offer anything worth my time.

I appreciate your apathy(not sure if right word) to sexuality in games, too many people attack that part of games. As somebody who actively seeks it out(up to and including porn games), it’s concerning to see it attacked like that. Out of curiosity, are you straight, lesbian, bisexual or what?
