I had a conversation with a friend recently regarding the wii, we kind of concluded that with how much shovel ware that will get tossed out, it might be worth it to start picking it up at this point at the lower prices.

I am not sure.. Maybe just pick through the games? I have several Wii's already. Unless they double as working game cubes, I don't see a lot of value in the Wii's. But that is just me.

Wii games have started rising in our area, 10-20%. I feel like it would have been a good deal and made money. I think if evey box had a disc and the games were in decent shape, they alone would have got you about even.

We love expensive cardboard! I love watching your shopping and con vids and get jealous of the prices. Then I remember, I'm in Canada, so it's at least 25% on top usually. Prices get more realistic at that point. Still a rad deal on Sunset.

I would've definitely picked up that Ducktales and Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers CIB Nintendo games I spotted there. Love those games and would love to get them CIB for my display someday. Those booths had some great selections today. By the way: the one eyed transformer you guys were asking about is named "Shockwave". The shark is a generic Sharkticon, they really don't have names for those transformers because they're an animal/feral race of robots.

If I remember correctly, the black boxed X-Men VHS was from Pizza Hut and the other colored ones were the normal ones found at retail stores. I could be mistaken though. Fun video. Cool to see so many good video games at a Toy convention. That FF Explorers 3DS game was a great grab!! Pretty close on the double Wii bundle. Could have made a few bucks I think but you didn't open any cases, could have been some missing manuals.

Yeah, a lot were missing manuals and the discs were BAD. That being said, we really just can't count on any of the consoles working anymore lol

I have the Zelda bundle; it’s a digital copy of Hyrule Hystoria on the EShop that was the only way to get it on there was that code. While that version of the system came & went from most retailers, it was the only version GameStop sold for almost 2 years in store, at least in my area in STL.

I would have passed on the Wii also. But my reason is because it pushed me away from modern/current gaming. I just haven't been a fan since. It got me to buy back my 80s and 90s childhood games.
