Jrue is such a calming presence; as well as being an elite defender and scoring threat. In addition to KP, he was a HUGE addition to the Celtics. Having a player like Jrue Holiday in the locker room and on the floor has a tremendously positive impact. And having Jrue Holiday AND Al Horford (very similar in nature as veterans/teammates) is so valuable. Jrue makes the players around him better, takes some of the pressure off of them and enables the team to fire on all cylinders.

JT is learning immensely. This experience is sharpening his play making ability which is raising his IQ. Dude is going to be an all around lethal weapon. Prime time coming soon for the celtics. I see them going back to back. 2 of the next 3 if they're healthy ☘️

massive game. hounding two great ball-handlers and making 26 point on 79% shooting. A M A Z I N G !! but this open mic moment was even bigger than his game today. Jrue is a profoundly generous person and the ultimate professional. kudos for crushing the deliberate misconstruing of things said with the proper context; kudos for silencing the clickbait hatin'!!

This is why I don't pay attention to what players say publicly. He meant what he said and he said what he meant... and now he has to "clarify" his comments so nobody gets offended and the "perception" of Tatum remains intact.

@@Marcus-mk3sd Nah... He thinks Tatum is more talented but given the way they play and the mental aspects... Brown is better. But of course you "can't say that" cause Tatum is the franchise player.
@emceefan
@emceefan 7 ай бұрын
Brown isn't better, Holiday was wrong about that. Brown is taking advantage of his opportunities due to the best player, Tatum, being on the floor and being focused on more from the opposing teams defense. But Brown of course should get his flowers for playing so great as the second option. Yes, he is a times making more good decisions in the clutch than Tatum is, probably due to Tatum being nervous on this stage. Which is something Tatum has to grow in. But Brown wouldn't be in this position in the finals and up 2-0 if Tatum or someone like Tatum wasn't on the team.
@Marcus-mk3sd
@Marcus-mk3sd 7 ай бұрын
I agree that Tatum is the franchise player and has more talent overall. However, JB has proven himself in big moments and is a lethal player when the pressure is on. His performance in crucial moments earned him the Conference finals MVP, and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the finals MVP as well."

yall are STILL talking about this bullshit THREE DAYS LATER??? if Boston fans & local media (like CLNS) didnt get so rabidly triggered & unhinged by JB getting even the tiniest bit of shine instead of the usual trade rumors & “no left/overpaid” slander we’ve been hearing for years this stupid fkn story would have died already. but nah, yall really dislike JB so much that u spend days openly wondering how ANYONE one earth could POSSIBLY prefer JB to JT & top it off by running to their teammates to REPEATEDLY ask them who they think is better. yall need to stop exposing yall agenda. these guys are BOTH home grown Celtics, nobody should be surprised, offended, triggered or unhinged by anyone saying either one is “the best.” instead of launching into a full blown public relations campaign questioning the sanity, intelligence & motivation behind their preference for JB, why not just be happy there are (at least) two guys on this team that could be considered “the best player.” at this point your outrage at Kidd’s compliment of JB is coming off as disrespectful to JB. let ppl prefer who they prefer as long as they prefer someone with “CELTICS” on the front of their jersey. SMH. terrible fanbase & media pool.

Good luck replacing Tatum and Al so easily. Meaning, you can't. Maybe Tatum will leave in free agency, which people like you would deserve, as you obviously don't deserve him. Then we'll see how great your team is with Brown as the first option.
