My first Kdrama was the Nice Guy. My first time in love with South Korean actor. OMG. Song Joong Ki has take my breath away. He is handsome and a brilliant actor, and singer. I am so in love with him. I have watched every film with him and hardly wait to seen him again in the next kdrama. I wish him a very HAPPY 2022 . i wish all his steps to be blessed forever in his life.

I immensely enjoyed watching "The Innocent Man". The drama made me experience so many emotions in varying levels. I was impressed that the characters were multi-dimensional. You feel pity, joy, frustration, anger, exhilaration, satisfaction, excitement, fear, doubt, etc. when you watch this drama and you cannot help but come back for more.

@@Safamatar95 Personally i was disappointed that she did not notice that he was stabbed But was glad they did not try to remind him of his past (post memory loss) & he finally got a chance to start with a clean slate ❤️ Loved Kang Maru's character

@@Safamatar95 I felt a great sense of pity for Kang Maru because he suffered so much all throughout the drama. He had so much potential (he was already viewed as a genius even when he was at the beginning of his training as a doctor) and was incredibly kind, taking care of his constantly ill half sister Choco despite financial difficulties. Han Jae-hee was a very manipulative, ambitious and greedy character and, while she admitted to everything in the end, I felt that it was too little too late. I think Han Jae-hee got off way too easy. On the first episode, I was upset that Kang Maru left Choco to help Jae-hee, but he made sure to call Jae-gil whom he completely trusted to take care of her. Sure, Maru insisted on taking the fall for her but she manipulated him for this to happen. She used his devotion and kindness to get him to make this sacrifice. Years later, you see that she was still the same selfish greedy person that she was years ago, using her beauty to control the men around her. Even her love for her son was distorted by her greed. Living as an ex-con with very little earning potential, Maru became a gigolo, working to support himself and Choco while still waiting for Jae-hee to return to him. His revenge against Jae-hee even seemed half-hearted, despite having seen her evil side over and over again, because he still valued their love. He even warned Seo Eun-gi time and again about his intentions, without disclosing his connection with Jae-hee. Maru took care of Eun-gi, protected her, and secretly got the best doctor to bring Eun-gi's memory back. In the end, I was sad to see Maru blame himself for everything and offer his body (he could not honestly offer his love) to Jae-hee in order to save Seo Eun-gi (without Eun-gi's knowledge). I felt that Eun-gi, while in love with Maru, did not really know him very well and kept misunderstanding him. Nobody knew how selfless Kang Maru was except for his best friend, Park Jae-gil. In a way, Maru good deeds were rewarded. The way he raised Choco led her to save Maru's life without knowing it. His sacrifices finally got through to Jae-hee and she not only admitted to her crimes, but also allowed Eun-gi and Maru to reunite prior to his surgery. It was a blessing for Maru not to remember all the pain that he went through, especially because they tainted the really "nice guy" that he was. He finally became a doctor (although I still think that he would have been able to help more people had he not sacrificed himself for Jae-hee, because he was a genius after all). I was a bit concerned about Eun-gi. Did she leave Park Joon-ha in charge of Taesan while she was stalking the new Dr. Kang Maru, waiting for him to notice her? I found it a bit irresponsible of her after everything that they all went through in order for her to get control of Taesan. I found the ending a bit anticlimactic, but at least it was a sweet ending for the couple.
