Desde mi adolescencia oí a Huguette las seis suites inglesas, grabadas en Arkiv,. Todas las versiones que he oído después por teclistas adorados por mí (clave o piano) no pueden igualar la profundidad de sus interpretaciones, con todo mi amor por Larrocha, Algerich y los y las demás. No puedo remediarlo.

First exposure to this kind of music was Dreyfus playing Scarlatti. And now many many years later Scott Ross is the pinnacle. But Huguette got me there. Wonderful performance!

Thank you for the informative text! The Prelude in this Suite is indeed a "great" one. This music (almost) defies any description I might add. This composition is inventive and lovely, to say the least! Bach continually astonishs me with his expert craftsmanship, cloaked in beauteous musical ideas. Dreyfuss does a magnificent interpretation in every way -- dynamics, musicality and touch.
