This just convinced me to avoid buying a suit. I really wanted an Xsens and couldn't get what I wanted from Rokoko. Both are super cool but it seems like AI has already caught up. I imagine this will be even better within 2-3 years right? It already looks so good now haha! Can't wait to see stuntmen do a huge brawl or some professional dancers doing an entire routine with this tech.

This does look impressive and is something on my radar. Hopefully, they have an indie subscription price for low usage or Epic buys them and makes it affordable :). I assume the results aren't real-time, that their AI processes it and sends you back the mocap? 4 go-pros are much cheaper than any mocap suit!

If this works as good as it seems it Will make mocapping so much more affordable. It Even separates actors so in Theory each (or some) could use face Capture. Im Tallking avatar here. If this could be Done in realtime… hopefully they Will be able to capture objects position too.(like weapons for the actors to use)

Yes so darn exciting!!! I was trying out mocap 4 all, since it's almost free. The ai pose estimation technology is crazy and it will only get better omg. This looks great to capture action base scene, but I'm wondering if we throw in the standard facial capture equipment for acting scenes, would it work as well?

There are a couple of free solutions like easy mocap and freemocap for all they are being worked on. This is definitely the future but the dev from free mocap thinks that pairing this with an inertial suit might yield some amazing capture as they can compensate for their short comings.
