Hackers are always discovering new methods to exploit vulnerabilities in systems. This video demonstrates how hackers can break into a Wi-Fi network simply by capturing signals that are broadcasted by the Access Point (Specifically, the PMKID). While also showing what we can to about it to protect ourselves. Is Your WIFI Vulnerable?
This video is aimed to teach Cyber Security Professions how the broadcast of PMKIDs can compromise a clients network, including how to test for it and mitigate the issue.
Please note: Full commands will not be included in the description (sorry). This is aimed to ensure only people with the appropriate knowledge and training can use these techniques.

Highly unlikely, The Alpha is designed to listen to multiple networks at the same time and has a bunch of features a standard WIFI Adapter does not have. That being said, the Alpha is about $20USD so not terribly expensive.
