I know many are gonna disagree, but the 84 - 92 era boom under his watch were the best and most exciting years of the boom to me. They went hard. They had more swac in their marching and their dance routines were longer on the field. I'm not hating on any other eras of boom, but if you're old enough to remember then you know what I'm talking about.
