How is this a “long arm” kit if everything mounts in just about the same location? It looks more like it’s just adding tougher arms with some slightly different angles to it.

@702marine These arms are about 15 inches longer than the stock ones and mount much further back on the frame, so they are most certainly "long arms" :-)

I have your arms on my JL now, but how much longer are the front long arms. Also, any rear kit coming?

Why does the top front control arm go in "sideways" seems like it would limit articulation. Or wear out the joint extremely fast.

@Jloffroad I'm sure because it looks a little different that it "seems" like it would limit articualtion or wear out the joints. Luckily, we thought of these things when designing the product! The misalignment in those joints more than handle the articulation of the system, even when paired with very long shocks. The wear is not a concern because of the ball in socket design. The forces going into that joint can come from any direction and the spherical center ball, encapsulated by spherical shaped races are not negatively effected at all by which direction those forces are applied. The main reason we went vertical with that bolt is because it's easier to install while getting the center line of that joint as close to the frame as possible.

Thank you so much for the explanation. I actually have this set of control arms going on my jl with a 60/80 combo. I must say the lower control arms are flat out massive!
