They may have experienced worst . Only reason they do not have this episodes were because they are not as "sensitive" as either Donghae and Yesung . As for some . If you were yelled shut up , you'll react like Yesung or some will react like Youngchul like he will still talk. It really depends on the person . Hodong just was not sensitive to know that what worked with the other members of SJ will not work with Yesung

I never knew this part when Suju member (yesung) also have their own hard time due to mistreatment during reality show. I always thought nobody dare to mess around with Suju even since the beginning because they're coming from big company. But what really awesome about this group is how the other team member confronting hodong in front of yesung to show that his member will fight for him for any mistreatment even if it happened years ago so that he can overcome his traume. The way heechul confronting hodong is really awesome. And none of suju member console hodong even when he's about to exit the door shows how much they will stand for yesung.

Rough trans. They are trying to guess the answer. Question wasnt in this clip but is probably sth along the lines like at Star King recording, Yesung wanted to do/say something so he said "Chogiyo / Excuse me", and what did Kang Hodong say in response. Heechul said sth like Hodong cursed at how SM shouldn't send kids with no variety sense on his show (or sth along the lines I'm not too sure, Heechul's answer included Hodong dissing SM - Hodong wasn't signed under SM then). The subs were like: "Indeed, Heechul has Hodong under control" Sangmin guessed that Yesung had spoken but his pronunciation/enunciation was off and Hodong told him to not speak like this, speak clear and loudly etc. Throughout the time Hyujae kepts being annoying and imitating what Yesung supposedly spoke with that face LOL Heechul guessed the answer will be a string of curses (or sth bordering along that), but Yesung said no it wasn't this strong. Shindong guessed "YA" and Yesung said they're getting close but there's something that Hodong said after ther YA! Hyukjae went on to do some voice imitation and got judged lol Kyunghoon guessed that when yesung said "excuse me" with his hand raised, Hodong plucked off his hand LOL WTF Then Youngchul & Janghoon guessed that Hodong said "keep your lips shut and stay still" The right answer (guessed by Youngchu) is "please be quiet" Yesung reacted the scene where Hodong yelled at him "Just keep quiet!" Hodong starts to shake the KB cast hands as the cast sing the graduation song for him, saying that there's no other way. Janghoon saw him out of the door LOL Poor yesung though awww

Hodong hasn't changed though, he always has his favorites on variety shows. It's natural to like another idol over another. He obviously loved Kyuhyun and Heechul more on that Star King episode. I saw how he treated Song Mino on New Journey to the West/Kang's Kitchen, he's delightful. But he also did a show with B.I and Jinhwan [Mari and I]. He was great with B.I, but didn't pay too much attention to Jinhwan. It's natural really.

In real life you can't use _jeogiyo_ freely on the streets of Korea, you will come off as quite socially rude, if not an attention-seeking nobody (especially that you're a foreigner). It's better to use _shil'lehaseyo_ which is the polite form of "Excuse me," especially if you want to ask a random stranger.

Jokes aside. That was extremely rude of Hodong to speak so rudely to Yesung (regardless if he's younger). I mean, Yesung is still intimidated by Hodong as this episode shows which is why Heechul targetted him a lot more in this episode than he usually does. No one messes with his little brothers and gets away with it. Also, its possible Yesung never told the members what Hodong specifically said so seeing them all get up at 2:13 and slowly walk towards Hodong, says a lot.
