Solar's vocal projection and resonance is crazy, her low notes are so rich and full, resembling the legendary whitney houston even more than before. Also considering this is all impromptu with no preparation beforehand, she's really a top singer, main vocal and deserves her position as judge and vocal mentor in 3 singing shows.

Solar is *not* the main vocal of Mamamoo, because they don't even have any official main or lead positions. The ones shown in the k-pop profiles are incorrect. Solar is, like Wheein and Hwasa, only in charge of vocals. The only official position is Solar's leader position. If you notice when Mamamoo introduce themselves, they do it as "In charge of _ in Mamamoo", not as "MAMAMOO's main/lead _" The official positions in Mamamoo are as below: Solar: Leader, in charge of vocals Moonbyul: In charge of rap and performance Wheein: In charge of vocal and performance Hwasa: In charge of vocal and rap All of the members can sing, rap and dance, but they are given the 'charge of' the areas they are strongest at. I agree with the first part though. Her talking voice has deepened, so I expected the same for her singing voice as well, but we couldn't hear it as Solar has not been using her full voice for singing to protect her throat(she said it herself in a recent Solarsido video). So hearing her current full voice here healed my soul❤️
