Welcome back, and as always, thanks for sharing! I've never seen those Ko-ken towels before, but had been wishing they'd sell more promotional merch than just simple tees. Could be nice to have a Ko-ken sweat towel, lol. I don't suppose that magazine has an English edition? It looks super interesting, and I'd love to have the chance to read through it.

I agree that it would be great if an English version was available! It would reach out to a worldwide audience!

@@chriscas-ToolAficionado You got me looking at their website, and then KZbin channel, and I'm really wishing I could read and speak Japanese, lol. Looks like they have tons of interesting content, even if only for having a perspective outside of my usual spheres. I might just have to get some of these Japanese language education books Amazon has been suggesting!

I got some of the 1/4'' nut grip sockets and they come off my Hazet ratchets when you remove the nut so maybe they need the heavier decent to keep it on.

We don’t have access to tool trucks at work so I’ve been buying koken stuff for 7 years and I seat it’s as good as the tool truck stuff

awesome as always! would be interesting to see those universal nutgrips in comparison with universal joint + socket combo. i'm salivating for them but unfortunately think it's not gonna happen at $35-40 a pop.

I think Stahlwille wrenches are ground by hand. I know for sure that Hazet wrenches and sockets are ground by hand. I've seen enough variance in them to think that no robot would do that. Some wrenches are ground to perfection and some are ground just good enough to pass their specifications. Obviously some workers are doing extra work (grinding for longer time and more carefully) to make them better than they need to be. I pick out the best ones for myself because I am insane.

Thanks for your comment. The attention and care the belt sander operator put into these wrenches is amazing.

It's about time ChrisCas! lol jk. Liked your mini review on the KTC oil filter wrench. I was thinking about getting it even though I have the three pronged one like everyone else. It looks quality. Maybe do a side by side comparo please? Also, are there harbor freight stores or lower tier tool stores in Japan? Thank you.

Yup, I have the three-pronged one as well, and there's definitely more budget friendly tool stores in Japan.
