A little known tale from the early days of DCDR was the kindness and generosity shown to us by Japanese Railway enthusiasts who helped us get the railway started. An article in an IDB magazine circulated around the world was quoted in a Japanese Newspaper, and before we knew it we had Japanese benefactors rushing to "sponsor a yard of track"!
This documentary from the Tokyo Broadcasting System dates from 1988 and shows the railway in its very early days, even before we reached the Loop Platform.
