I loved this show as a child, I would watch it whenever it was on, and now the awesome people over at WARNER BROTHERS generously sent me a copy to review. Seriously, why hasn’t the powerpuff girls complete series been released on blu ray already? This show and its movie deseve blu ray releases, along with a lot of other Cartoon Network shows that I can list off.

Finally, a version of this box-set without double-sided discs. That's one thing they actually improved on here.

This new release has the terrible clear case packaging with detachable disc holders though. But would be perfect for those who own the original 2009 10th Anniversary DVD box set (that I own as well) to swap the discs as a replacement. In case there's either rotting or don't want flipper discs in those 6 white individual cases. However, you do need a disc holder to attach one disc each.

@@JosephASobora The ideal packaging would have been just to have each DVD case have two disc holders on each side instead of double-sided discs that are easy to scratch. This new release fixed the double-sided disc issue, but made the packaging worse.

@@JTwoH It was also brought to my attention that the front cover has a black line going through the artwork even though the retail pictures online don't have the black line on the cover. Apparently, this is a printing error all current copies of this set seam to have and has not been fixed yet.

I agree that the weird line on the slip-box is annoying. Error or not, I don't like it and it seems like an error. Looking forward to the set, though. It is much better with pressed discs with the PPG colors on the discs than the blank flip discs from before.

I didn't know this was even coming out but thanks to you I now know I didn't grow up with cable or satellite this was during my childhood this was on so I've seen a few episodes here and there so I'll have to get this and check the whole thing out

I got mine with the diagonal line as well. It doesn’t show up on the sale graphic and what I’m seeing in the comments seems to be a reoccurring feature in people’s orders.

My old print from 2009 is doubled disc-sided for each season, but the package is fat in White DVD case.

I have the 2009 set. The Christmas special Twas the Flight Before Christmas is on the season 4 DVD. In this case one of the season 4 DVDs.

Oddly enough the initial announcement said this was gonna be a Warner Archive DVD-R set but I guess they changed their minds?

I guess that means the disc backs aren't purple and this set turned out to be a last min change to just place all disc stacked in 1 case like the foster set and re use almost everything from the last set

my brother & i r twins & i got the original set 4 our birthday three years ago! i shouldve bought it when it came out back in 2009! i watched it all the time when i was little too. now we’re 29 & its still my favorite cn show & always will be. i cant wait 4 the reboot but i just hope craig gets somebody as awesome as tom kane 2 play professor & him. it sucks that he had a stroke & had 2 retire :( i didnt know he played him too when i was little & could never tell if him was a guy either cuz of his voice. i can imitate it. id show him if i met him but i guess i never will now :( ive been praying 4 him, just did last night & will again 2night. get well soon tom aka professor, him & darwin :( im gonna miss ur kick-ass voice :( thanks 4 being one of the best damn ones of my childhood

According To The Walmart Website, This Entire Set Is 1800 Mins. So It’s Definitely A Great Huge Ton Of Content! Imma Have To Snatch Me Up A Copy Of This Set & Potentially Replace My Complete First Season Set I Had Since 2019. Kinda Strange They Never Released The Rest Individually, But That Newly Released Boxset Is Very Neat & Much Better Than The Fat One They Previously Released Many Years Ago.

Wish they didn't stack the discs. It's really not hard to just get one of those exact same flippers but instead of stacking it's just one disc per tray. Family Guy did it for their Part One boxset. But alas, they don't care. Generally speaking otherwise, the set looks pretty well done. So I guess good job WB but I'd really wish they'd stop stacking discs.

So mine also had the black horizontal line across the Powerpuff Girls logo on the slipcover. I think that’s how it’s supposed to show up. I’m not mad at it. It’s literally whatever. I’m just glad I own it.

I honestly think it’s a design choice. I don’t know why it had to go through bubbles and blossoms eyes though! Lol, but I can’t wait to see other unboxing of this but yeah I feel like this is how it’s supposed to show up.
