The minute he left me at the wedding would have been his last time seeing me. Shu Fei should have gotten married to someone else so that when he called her to get back together, she could say... "I'm married!" That would have been the best and most satisfying ending! I hate dramas in which the females are seen as weak because we are not! In reality, women would have dropped him like a hot potato. My ex-husband was that way, and we were married for 37.5 years! I refused to share him! We got divorced! I left his ass- something that I should have done years earlier!

A pre-move like this has severed his relationship already to the point of a breakup message and her parents' fury (aside from the failed wedding day). And, really, all he's done has been leading up to a breakup. That he brought the woman home to live among them after her sad (pathetic) tale - was the beginning of the end of his romance. Step by step Shu Fei was being jammed into a hole by him that didn't allow any consideration of her anymore - out of sight, out of mind. He knows this woman has feelings for him and wants him, and like Shu Fei's dad told him - once he got there he wouldn't be able to return like he's claiming to do...get her settled and return...on top of that her aunt doesn't want her and it should be considered why this woman would turn her away like that and under these circumstances. These 'return to the scene of their crime' women always know a sucker is waiting, because he was a sucker when she dumped him so he'll succumb with a hard luck story. Man. You should be your woman's hero. This help, as you call it, could have been accomplished differently. A hotel room for a night, THEN planning with your woman to pay a few months rent for an apartment, providing a few dollars for food and transportation, giving leads for jobs - and goodbye and good luck. What a louse he is. He made the plans to go to America without even informing Shu Fei. Just did it. Decided with the ex. So, actually has designed the same heartbreak he experienced from this ex onto Shu Fei...going with the ex's template on how to end a relationship. Shu Fei is already buried in that no consideration hole. Because if he couldn't contact her to tell her he should have waited befire agreeing. Impulsiveness is not spontaneity. The former usually has a disastrous outcome because it's thoughtless, while the latter can give the strength to lift a car off of someone because thoughtfulness works within the time allowed. I hope Shu Fei moves on.

I don't understand these guy that run back to their Exes when they have a perfectly good girlfriend. Then, they are confused when their girlfriend breaks up with them. The parents are right in telling him to leave and not come back. He wants to play knight in shining armor to his ex and wants his current gf to be backup plan. Wow. That was the fakest apology I have ever heard in a drama. She's going to end up with him. It made no sense for her Dad to tell her to go to him.
