Faut arrêter de dire plus grand de tous les temps , jusqu'à la moitié du 20e siècle, des chanteurs bien meilleurs étaient légion, pour aujourd'hui, disons qu'il chante très bien et c'est déjà beaucoup

Cantar Óperas completas de Verdi y Puccini es negativo para el. Es muy inteligente, solo canta algunas arias muy conocidas y que no puedan perjudicar su voz.

Yes it's completely absurd. That said we live in an age where a soubrette coloratura mezzo sang at an A house and recorded the role of "Norma" because it's a "period styling" reboot. Yeah. Indeed 's a free-for-all nowadays in the circus world of Opera. Florez has a narrow sound. It's not really round enough. It just sounds like high notes and buzziness.
