They should make a movie about Too $hort. A lot of people dont know how underrated he is.

Sir Too Short one of the best to ever do it. The boy sounded good in the 80's,90's,00's, and still sounds good right now. Who else can say they did it like Short Dog!

Loved this vid.. Short dog had a cult following in the suburbs of Boston of all places back in the early to mid 90s. . We used to break speakers to that shit.. miss those days!

Shorty the pimp was my favorite one but he had a ton of sick ones in a row. Shorty the pimp, get in where u fit in, cocktails and getting it all came out in a row. All good from beginning til end.

Short dogg's first tape was 1981.. His first album wasn't until 1987.. But if you from Oakland you know he was selling cassette tapes out of his trunk since 82,83.. That's WAAAAAYYYY before most of the NY rap that a lot of yall think started hip-hop..

too short doin some house music hahaha i can get with dat!!! but yea I'm an ny dude but i LOVE that bay area rap scene (especially in the 90s) with a passion! short dogg, e40, rbl posse, spice 1, mac dre, richie rich, dru down, jt the bigga figga, and many more! so much talent and the best part is the black/brown pride in the north blacks and mexicans lovin each other not like l.a.!! but that was funny what rosenberg said about spice one he chill dude tho but from 91-99 spice one killed more people in his raps than the us military!! gunplay to the max with his raps lol and interestingly when cipha said he lived in hayward thats where spice one is from too!! hahah

He talking about Leopold's Records at 15:23, but it was all about Rasputin's and Leopold's for crate diggin'. Hella true what he said at 19:08! I thought that Friends by Whodini was spitting on his instrumental because I had heard Short spitting on it before I heard the original song by Whodini. Wish I had them tapes today. Trippin' at 30:20. Father Dom Flossin' is dope and bumped way harder than any Keith Murray joint, at least out here in the bay but I think the lyric was touching on how dope shit branches off from the OG's.

Where in my comment did I say Hip hop didn't start in NY..? I said it was way before most of the hip hop that yall think started it.. My point was he pre-dates alot artist who get credited for starting hip-hop..I never said hip-hop wasn't started in NY..calm down the east coast west coast war doesn't need to be rehashed.. I was just pointing out that Too Short was rapping before a lot of early hip-hop legends were..
