I'm afraid the long jump pit has to be extended for this young man. At 0.33 he was way beyond that mark because he realised he was going to smash his pretty face on the hard floor and took evasive action. For a 19 year old, I'll take a bow. Incredible.

@thecsciworker2913 жыл бұрын
@@bestplanet8440 @oobaka1967 Except the whole point of track and field is overcoming the obstacle in front of you. No...seriously. It's to see which human is the better athlete by seeing who can jump over a higher wall (HJ/PV), who can throw weapon furthest (Discus, Shot, Jav), who can best clear a chasm (LJ) etc., etc.. With that said, the environmental aspects are also part of the challenge. Hence why we have indoors/outdoors/road race/cross country. The steeple chase has two big hurdles and a water pit. Cross country has mud, trees...outdoor Track 'n Field has wind, rain, uncontrolled (natural) temperature/climate. These things make athletics interesting. Indoors is for ideal competition...which produces results that are not as impressive as outdoor results for the exact reasons Im mentioning. You could run seriously fast times or jump distances indoors, but no-one is gonna really "recognise" it as a true record unless it's done outdoors. You may have realised I mention weapon & chasm earlier. Track n Field was born out of real world challenges (faced in war times). The board in long jump exist because if someone in the field was to jump across a gap, you want to know who can jump the largest gap, and a gap has a take off point (otherwise you'll fall to your doom), hence why the board exists and jumpers dont just jump willy-nilly. There are a myraid of ridiculous requests for changes...soon enough people will start requesting participation trophies..
