In contrary I find his high notes to be quite painful in this production. The studio version of this opera seems to be in 415 Hz, whilst surprisingly here it seems to be in 440 Hz. Maybe they should’ve stucked with the lower pitch, smt which the singer was more accustomed to. Idk if he were sick, but every aria in this production that he sung all seemed not comfortable for him.
