Sydney born and bread. Think you guys nailed it. Obviously the touristy things like Darling Harbour, The Rocks, Mc Chair, etc ‘have to’ make it on the list… but between Carriageworks Markets, Pina/Room10, Tottis, Secret Garden, Gordon’s, and the Bondi2Coogee - I think you also got a real taste for how the average local does it to. There’s always going to be hidden gems that you might’ve missed, but for a month in Sydney- I think you guys did really well. Hope you guys enjoyed your stay.

Did you get to Taronga zoo? Great ferry trip over there, with a sky lift up the hill and amazing views of the harbour. They're really big on conservation and animal protection too. It's also awesome to actually see a performance at the opera house (opera, ballet, symphony, theatre etc.) - before the show and during intermission the atrium where you wait backs onto the harbour with a huge glass wall. Stunning view, perfect with a glass of champagne. Love the vids x

Yep coastal walks are a thing here…my fave is the Spit to Manly walk…it starts at The Spit Bridge and goes around Middle Harbour all the way through bushland and coves to Manly. Personally, Potts Point is actually one of the most expensive places to stay/live, but the location is definitely what makes it more attractive. You definitely missed out on the amazing variety of Asian food we have in Sydney - Australia’s proximity to south East Asian means that the quality of our Asian food is comparable to their home countries. Next time you’re here you should try and get out to Burwood, Ashfield and Cabramatta for some Asian fair. The Museum of Contemporary Art (or MCA) also has an amazing little cafe at the top with a fantastic view of sydney…there’s also Theatre Bar at the End of the Wharf near Sydney Theatre Company/Sydney Dance Company and the Hotel Palisade as well 😊 Mrs Macquarie’s Chair is one of the highly sought after locations for the New Years Fireworks because of THAT view…so you weren’t wrong with that being one of the best views of sydney 😊

Brisbane local here! Looove your channel! You guys have to try Le Cache e Vin in the CBD for the best french food! If you guys head up the Sunshine coast and want some really beautiful walks, I recommend heading to Sunrise beach and you can walk up the cliff for a really beautiful hike. Also Noose national park hike is a MUST. If you go to Noosa you have to eat at Bistro C and try their coconut chilli margarita.

My picks: 1) Ferry to Watson's Bay for Camp Cove, walk around South Head to the Gap, then eat at Doyle's Restaurant, watch the sunset at Dudley Page Reserve. 2) Try to get one of the big tall ferries to Manly for a better view and a more old-school experience. 3) If you have a car, go to Palm Beach and West Head Lookout. 4) The Royal National Park for more serious hiking.

Are you guys going to check out Byron bay while you’re on the east coast? Also I’m from Brisbane. Hope you enjoy your time in this city. There are some beautiful hikes around the place. Plenty in Mt Coot-Tha. The summit hike is short and easy with a beautiful view of the city at the top. There is also the city botanic gardens and the Toowong botanic gardens which are both beautiful (especially the Toowong one). There is an animal sanctuary at Lone pine which I think is worth the visit as you can hold koalas and pet and feed kangaroos and so many other amazing Australian wildlife. There is the 7 wheel which has a nice view of the city at night. One of my favourite restaurants I’ve been to is Southside restaurant which is in South Brisbane and the vibes there are nice plus the food is pretty good. The eat street markets are a lively marketplace which happen every weekend at night and are worth a visit. I recommend catching a ferry into there to see the city from the water especially at sunset. Moreton island is DEFINITELY worth a visit. You can catch a passenger ferry over there and snorkel at the shipwreck. The water is stunning and you can also go sand boarding there which is so much fun! The story bridge climb is another touristy thing to do and probably not as much as the Sydney bridge climb.

Having been living in Sydney since 2019, I love this city so much with the wide variety of cuisines and the high quality of food, as well as the nice coastal environment. I would recommend anyone who visit Sydney to try the wide range of Asian and middle-eastern cuisines, particularly Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Turkish cuisines, all of them are so amazing and authentic. If you are keen to look for nice brunch spots other than Pitts point, there’s plenty of options in Surry Hills, Newtown and Marrickville, you will find lots of hidden gem by just hopping into any cafe.

Hi guys! I saw many people from Sydney in the comments and I have a question for you- how is weather in Sydney at the end of August and begining of September? I plan to visit your city in that time and I was wondering if it’s really cold in that time or is it like our spring in Europe weather🌞
@jonathanm794810 ай бұрын
Our spring and autumn are perfect sunshine, not too cold or hot. But if you go in winter you can also visit the ski resort Perisher Blue. In perisher you can catch a train to the Blue Cow Summit and Guthega which in my opinion are as beautiful as the New Zealand ski resorts. Go for a weekend to ski then drive back to Sydney and sunbath on the beach. Our winter in Sydney is cold but during the day it feels nice if it is sunny.

Potts point is great but I think a heads up that it’s not the safest for a single women, lots of drug addicts around hence why it is a cheaper part. It’s got it’s charm but it’s a good heads up, there are a lot of safe needle injecting clinics in Potts point, hence all the drug addicts around. But it’s super central to the city and a lot of the bay side beaches.

When you say a beach in Sydney, it rarely means just the beach because if you only saw the beach you would say it was overrated. Eg. You were in the middle of Manly Beach which I think is relatively ugly due to the rougher sand and darker water. Manly is the walk from Delwood Beach (underrated gem), Manly Wharf (especially when Jakaranda trees are in bloom), the Corso (shops), Marine Parade, Shelly Beach Walking Track. Along this walk the sun reflects off the water in a way that makes it sparkling blue green. Compare that to Balmoral which is also nice but doesnt reflect the sun on the water well. Bondi also includes Tamarama and Bronti as one location. Bronte is my favourite because ive been there in perfect sunshine and the water was clear and blue and the waves were perfect gentle curves which looked like they were made of glass. From the cliffs the scenery is a work of art. Camp Cove includes The Gap Bluff cliff walk and Watsons Bay. Shark Beach includes the Hermitage Foreshore Walk. North Head Scenic Drive View Point is also a great place to see the big cruise ships leave the harbour. Other things you didnt show in your video was the Barangaroo night life. If you didnt go there at night you didnt experience the life of Darling Harbour and at sunrise the buildings reflect off the water like a mirror. And in Hyde Park if you walk from the Anzac Memorial to the Archibald Fountain at sunrise, you feel like you are in Harry Potter with the Cathedral in the background (When I was in the Vatican they have markings of the size of the biggest Cathedrals in the world on the floor of their main Cathedral and Sydneys is one of the biggest). Im looking forward to your Gold Coast experience 😊.

All these restaurants and cafes you like oh course they would be great but also are expensive. They are catered for the hip trendy people who have money. Its more for the upper class of Sydney. my tip for the blue mountains is you go there when the weather is nice and sunny. Winter time if if cloudy or rain you wont see much due to low cloud and fog. It does get very cold in winter up there. Youshould also try and make a few days up there as there's so many spots to look at and tracks to walk. One such walj for a few hours is Grand Canyon Valley. Its so worth it and oncedown tbe bottom its another world and peaceful.
