We did not lose power in our area in NC, but we lost internet about 730 that night. It came on briefly around 6 am yesterday, and it it backnout. It finally came back on around noon. I had many videos to get caught up on. We had a section of fence in the Doggie yard because of a large branch. We pulled a neighbors kayak out of the little cove on the side of us and took it back, and secured it. It blew some chairs over and slid my gas grill a foit or two on the porch. It was a crazy storm, but thankful that there was nothing serious.

I don't know if anyone have suggested these two stitches, but here goes: the berry stitch and the spider stitch. Will have a watch at the cal's as soon as time finds me

For the red yarn with the lurex, if you run the end of the yarn through a bead that fits loosely, you won't have a problem with the strands staying together. It works with the cottons that are 4 strands that aren't twisted together, too.. Just a simple plastic pony bead, or anything you can pick up at Joann, or even Walmart. Works like a charm!!! Nancy

Juan like your yarns - making things for men is not a problem I have a hubby, two sons, and 4 grandsons - love making them things - I love carmel macchitto (sp) too - I too am diabetic. We have so much in common - and like your Mom I too am in a wheelchair. I am sorry about house damage - I can imagine that is pricey. I live in an apt - always wished for a home. Thsnks for all the things - your one of my favs to watch.

Stenli cakes are beautiful! I’m glad you’re making some masculine things because I don’t need frilly things so it works for me 😊 and also I keep forgetting to mention it just in case no one has said it yet - for knitting - learn to knit continental. You hold your yarn in the left hand. It’s how I knit and it’s more like how you hold yarn for crochet. It’s called continental or picking and it’s easier for lefties. I promise! ❤❤❤

Super psyched for the stitch academy!! I just started crocheting last spring, and have a habit of immediately forgetting a stich I've learned (aside from the basics) when I move on to the next project, so I've been thinking about doing something similar to your squares to keep at my fingertips! Few rows of stitches, label it and binder/box it for future reference 🧶📓 Your academy would be the perfect place for me to start!! 🤗 Also have supplies incoming for what will be my first CAL! 🎉 For all you do you absolutely deserve the beautiful fancy yarns! ❤️

I googled it and a Euro is 1.09 US dollar. So pretty close to our $. Herrschners Hydrangea afghan kit has an excelent Bean st. section in it. I made this for my uncle last year. I don't remember what the other section st. were called.

We had over 100mph winds here in NC. It was very scary. The lightning was insane. So I had to wait till this morning to watch. My first 2 squares got done today, 2 more tomorrow....let's spin the wheel for a border stitch!

Hi Juan. Glad you and your mum (Wilma) are ok after the storm. I live in central Victoria Australia and last weekend we had a Terribly bad Hail storm and they were the size of golf balls. I’m fine thank goodness lots of damage of cars and house roofs. 😮

Sorry about the damage to your house, next time take pics and contact your Home owners insurance. They will usually take care of it and you have to pay your deductible though for the cost of repairs. In dec 25, 2022 my garage and apt above flooded from a pipe freeze... big mess, ceiling of my garage had to be remediated redone as well as the apartment.

I’m so glad you and family are ok. It happens often in storms… shingles, shutters, trash cans, lawn furniture, fences, you name it flies around. I did watch your blanket CAL and did the square; enjoyed it and was not bothered by any noise. DHL… ohhh, I’m drooling already and you hadn’t opened the package yet. I live in TN and that storm was wild. It ripped the storm door off the back door and I had to go out and move it off the electric fence. Sorry for the damage your house received. INS should reimburse you
