In the beginning of the video, the car in front of you, the black Ford Escape, has a license plate known as Anapromex. It's a loophole that Mexico wants to get rid of. The license plate says on it that the car is in the process of being imported. However, there is no time limit on when to begin the process of importation, so they just keep driving around with those plates. These cars are known as Chocolatès, a play on words on the word chueco (crooked in English) that refers to the USA and Canadian cars illegally in Mexico and are very common in the border cities.

When I was in the Army between 2011-2015, stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, we were warned weekly not to go over the Juarez. This was during the prime Sicario vibes, and Sinaloa was killing up to 14 people a day. Snitches, Rats, Informants, and Traitors, all dismembered and on display. Big Army said if you go over (for whatever reason) and get caught you will be booted from the service and if you get captured, they will only spend 250k to get you back. Price for an American is 1 million or greater, possibly more with the right connections. True story.

We are going to record random streets and we have to show it to our American audience so that they say that Juárez has very dangerous places. Dude, I know very well those areas that you recorded and obviously in the morning there is nothing because most of the people are working. All those people from the center that you showed first, are people who go to their work and are there to take their transport, I always pass by there and nothing has happened to me due to aggression or danger. I admit that Juárez has a bad image of the Narcos of years ago, but I assure you that if you are surrounded by people it is impossible for them to rob you because if there is a national guard always operating in those directions and what you deduce is very possibly at night , which few people do when crossing places like this at night. But I assure you that as in Juárez and as in any other similar place, something "dangerous" could happen, it is simply absurd.

Kinda cool how you can see El Paso at the end. When I was at Fort Bliss I remember looking at that ridge that runs through the city 24/7. I do like those tall hills or mountains in the background Charlie its a nice view , its hard to tell if those are hills or mountains most likely mountains because of their height, this is some good sunny weather, it's unfortunate some live in severe poverty here but not that poverished im sure their is worse

That part of Juarez he’s in has hills, the mountains in the background at 4:50 are in El Paso. You can see the taller buildings in downtown El Paso also in the background. The interstate runs through El Paso with the mountains/ El Paso on one side and Juarez on the other. You can easily look into Juarez neighborhoods just by driving down the interstate, it’s that close.

I was stationed near the border in 1970, we used to cross over into Juarez and party all weekend, booze, women, we used to pay 1cent to cross the border and 2 cents to come back into the states. The main strip was jumping, food, music and good times. You were safe as long as you stayed on the main strip.

This guy is a joke, I have been in this area at night and it's not dangerous. Did you see anything dangerous about this? Poverty does not equal dangerous
