Great video, thanks for sharing... As a teenager I was living on Dickson Road near the Gynn and walked on those cliffs and in the park many times...great memories and gratitude to the people who are taking care of it.

You are correct in saying there were toilets in the underpass. They were at the ground level, on the left as you emerged from the steps. I think they were still functioning in the 1990s, although I cannot be completely certain about that. Gynn (with a hard 'g') gardens certainly has been improved. I recall the Mesembryanthemums there......trailing, low-growing succulents with vividly coloured little flowers that opened only in full sunshine - the type of plants much loved by councils as they required virtually no maintenance.

Those flowers you mention I think they were there in 2011, maybe in 2012. They had them in pink and peach and other colours and closed their petals when the sun went in. Don't see them much nowadays but remember those as a teenager, many moons ago.

And those plants tolerate the harsh weather exceptionally well too!

That's another first for me added to the clip you posted about Sea Foam that I was convinced was snow , I hadn't realised it was posted 5 years ago , This garden I have never noticed because you don't notice it when you're driving so thanks for the information , I looked at a few clips from people who do the same thing as you and the only comment I can make is after watching them I felt a bit seasick the wobbly jerking motions didn't go down well , keep up the good work it's appreciated .

My favourite walk in all the Fylde. I remember walking through there mid seventies with the love of my life on a warm summer evening, didn't last.
