Private school kids are not rich. That’s an ignorant statement. Many private schools can cost 10k a year. Literally less than buying a new car. It’s more about money management than being rich. In fact assuming you need to be rich to just attend a private school shows how uneducated the avg person is. Now if a private school costs over 30k a year; at that point you would most likely need to be wealthy without a scholarship of course.

As a private schooler, I can say that wealth and opportunity is the only difference between private/public school students. @jeremiahnoar75042 жыл бұрын

@user-s6x17t61ff2 жыл бұрын
"wealth and opportunity is the only difference" lol sorry but no. That's not real life. An average person who can afford private school for their children probably has a higher IQ than the one who can't afford. And the children of the higher IQ will likely to be smarter than the other kid whose father can't afford a private school. Of course I'm not saying that this is true in general, but on average, it is true. And I haven't even mentioned that it is scientifically proven that eating healty in the early ages has a significant role in brain development. Sure, you can say this is a part of the "wealth" you were talking about, but this happens before they even go to the school. By the time they are old enough to go to the school, there is already a difference between a kid whose parents can afford a private school, and another kid whose parents can't afford. And it's because the first kid had more access to healty food, and that contributed his brain development. Meanwhile the poor kid was fed with unhealty food probably. I'm not saying a kid from private school is smarter than a public school kid, but if you do the same IQ test in a private school and in a public school, chances are the private school probably will average more. And that is just real life.

Okay when Halle asked about the diversity and race in his school he totally dodged or misunderstood the question. Saying you have clubs and directors for equality and diversity does not guarantee diversity 😂 He did not say if it was like mainly Caucasian, pretty mixed etc, which I'm pretty sure what she was asking. As someone who attended public school my entire life it’s really crazy to see how they all view public school as this absolute nightmare. I went to the same school from k-8 and knew everyone by name. We had small class sizes and amazing resources. For high school I was in a Stem Program that also had small class sizes and amazing resources. It’s not about how much money you can pay. It’s all about resources. Some of the top schools are public but just in affluent areas.

I went to public school but i was almost always in honors or IB classes. The few times i took classes with non-IB students there was a huge contrast in both quality of education and the students themselves. A lot of the complaints of public schools im seeing in the comments wasn’t a big concern when you were in advanced classes so it would be interesting to see a video on kids in programs like IB or AP students versus those in standard classes. I know at least at my school there was also generally just a huge division between the two almost like we were in different worlds and the IB program kinda encouraged kids to see themselves as somewhat “superior” creating even further division. Also I cant speak much on AP but i know theres more freedom and you can take only one at a time whereas IB requires essentially all of your classes except maybe certain electives to be IB (plus lots of summer projects, community services, TOK, etc) which means you almost never find yourselves in classes with non-IB students

Same here! Even though my school was tiny, I still ended up being in classes with the same 20 or so people from 5th grade to the end of high school, and there was a definite separation between those classes and the few times I was in classes with the other people in my grade.
@obvjaime2 жыл бұрын
Same. Middle school sixth grade I was put in “intensive” classes and basically it was impossible to learn… Kids misbehaving causing the teachers to call security every single day. I’ll also say IB was so toxic that when we met AP kids from other schools we still thought of ourselves as “superior” because our program was more “intensive” supposedly

I find it really surprising that only private schools seem to have those special subjects, clubs etc. Ich go to a public school and it still has all of those options so I don't have to pay anything and still get some cool stuff to do

It intresting to see how kids have relationships with their schools. I went to private snd was bullied out of it. Now i go to public snd I love it. I get less attention from teachers but its more diverse so i can find my people

As someone who went to private school, they picked the most private school kids I’ve ever seen- rich and annoying 💀

These kids are really eloquent, it's really Amazing, I was especially impressed with halle, she is so well spoken and really stood her ground well even if she was the mole

Kinda, i think halle was at least less suspicious than tom. But she wasnt really well spoken
