One could argue that's kinda what the game promotes regardless of the group? I want to stay in so I can earn the money as well, what do I do? 1) Act 'stereotypically straight'. This will work on some people, this would make other second guess because: - The gay person may also try to do the same to not be voted out. - Everyone has different degrees to which they believe in sterotypes. 2) With that said, unless they are naturally that stereotypically masculine. They may try to act like themself since likely previously stated, not everyone believes in sterotypes to the same degree and most men are on a continuum of masculinity anyways. Though this may also cause doubts: - If the gay man has stereotypically gay mannerisms, well people are going to notice and be suspicious, not only because they believe in an obvious answer, but this is a game. A game about deception makes you think more about how you someone may be trying to deceive you. At the end of the day, everyone will try a different things. What you described is one of the most obvious answers. And that is not to say some people may be acting that way in fear of being suspected of being gay because they themselves see it as a negative thing. But in a game setting, a game of deception at that. Is it fair to imprint your beliefs that that's how they "all" are as you say. Have you personally interviewed every single person in that room?
