ASMR | Speedrunning the entire Skyrim Main Quest 🐲 Can I beat my previous time?

Today marks two years since I uploaded my popular Skyrim Main Quest Speedrun! So I figured it's about time I try to give it another go 😁 I got LiveSplit to work so I can better mark my progress and I'll be trying to be beat my previous time of 3 hours and 40 minutes! My ultimate goal is under 3 hours, think I can do it? Let me know if I should make this a yearly tradition!

Right I feel you, 3-4 years ago listening to ASMR was something I would hardly share with my closest friends due to sounding like an absolute freak, there was also the stereo type that guys only liked ASMR because we over sexualize the women who predominantly did it so then that label was something I also wasn't in a hurry to have slapped on me.

When I was a kid and I used to always play Skyrim everytime I would start a new character I would always look at the sky when the skyrim title pops up at the very beginning when ur riding in the carriage cuz to me it was more cinematic and I made it up in my head that it gave me good luck if I did that

When you fast travel time passes in game. If you fast travel from far enough away, enough time will pass for the NPC to walk there. I havent seen the part youre talking about yet so if Im maybe in the wrong Ill edit this comment

one thing that could save you time is going straight to bleakfall barrow from riverwood, you can pick up the dragonstone before ever being asked! Speeds up the whiterun section quite a bit :)

Good luck on your first playthrough! The most important thing is to make sure you're having fun above all else. Don't worry about the speed at which you do quests or level up, or if you pick up a bunch of quests and don't finish them. There's no right or wrong way to play! Enjoy ❤️❤️❤️

Also I heard your comment on livesplit and idk if there's another comment about it but you can actually set it up to "auto-split" you just have to dig into the settings but there should already be some pre-made by the community!

I recently bulldozed the majority of content in Skyrim, dlc included, after falling asleep to your other Skyrim speedrun asmr and re-sparking my interest, and for the first time after years and years of just wandering around on different throwaway characters and getting stuck in places I shouldn't be because there were too many temptuous plates and wooden bowls within reach I was finally able to stick it out to the end of the main story and beyond. Spent about a week and a half straight just ripping through this game and finally understanding what people saw in it that I didn't for so long, especially with the College and Thieves Guild questlines. I can't get any of the good mods because I play on PS4 (would love to get invested in Survival mode but the fact that using fire spells ((like... flame cloak... are you kidding me todd)) and standing near a friendly Flame Atronach produce a whopping 0 heat and not being able to find a PS4 fix was enough to immediately dampen that excitement and immersion), but the un-modded experience is still damn good. At least we have the romanceable Serana mod on PS4, even if it is really buggy ;^;

On your small rant about the hand-cutting trope: in this setting it works, considering how unnaturally fast the dragonborn heals, plus how strong the dragonborn's healing magic is, cutting your hand proves no true detriment

Yo, you did a good job. Sidenote you'd enjoy making a fists brawler type using a Nord with heavy armor and the gauntlet enchantment. I say Nord and not kahjeet because I don't like them, but they do have an unarmed damage bonus, plus you can't be disarmed by anything.

A really useful tip for speed running skyrim is you can reset your stamina bar, health bar, and magicka entirely by waiting 1 hour in skyrim time

For future reference a little tip for speed running is to use either a high elf bc they have the highest normal walking speed or orc bc their racial ability makes most fights on novice free

I don't have a set video BUT I can tell you my favs! Open Cities is a must for me, same with the Alternate Start (because who wants to see that opening cart cutscene 50,000 times) and SkyUI, I also like the Holidays mod, Enhanced Lighting and FX, Relationship Dialogue Overhaul, Immersive Citizens AI Overhaul, and the Ordinator. Any others would be more graphics related or cosmetic (like KS Hair) or quality of life like the Stones of Barenziah quest markers!

I played this game for about 200 hours on ps4. Never finished it. Now I got it on PC and I'm about 30 hours in. I don't know how you did this. I fell asleep right away.
