This archaeological site is not mysterious. It is just Creek art, not Cherokee. Judaculla is the Anglicization of the Creek words (phonetic spelling) Jzhuta - Kula, which mean "Sky Over the Province of Culla." The ethnic name is actually, Kura, but Creeks roll their R's so hard that Cherokees and Europeans generally thought that they were Ls. The petroglyphs described the constellations, stars and planets of the night time sky, plus the lower part is a map of the province. The Kulasee Creeks moved to the Lower Chattahoochee River in the early 1700s, but eventually became a founding group of the Seminoles in Florida. Cullowhee, NC and Currahee, GA are actually the same words, meaning "Place of the Kura."

How could it be Cherokee ? The Cherokee was not in the area until the Yamasee wars . No lower form of people than those that have stolen another's history .
