This song reminds me that I believe in Beauty. When one believes in Beauty, or (if that doesn't work) in Goodness or in Truth, then one also believes in God. For God is the highest good, the highest truth, and the highest expression of beauty. I'm often able to doubt what is the Good; I've also managed to doubt the Truth, but I've simply never been able to doubt the Beauty.

Just simply means to acknowledge God and His goodness. He benefits from our worship to Him, not that He needs it, but He created us for that purpose.

There's a scripture that says "for behold this is my work and my glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man"... We reflect out worship upon Him imperfectly. This is why one of Martin Luther's beautiful monikers was "Simul Justus et Peccator". Meaning "at once (meaning at the same time) justified and a sinner". "Noone is good. No, not one." But Christ was the ONLY perfect one and we , who are His sheep, are hidden in Him. His perfect life is accredited to us. So beautiful.
