Robert Merriman I should rephrase my earlier statement as I just realized the issue with it, I meant to say that Judas Priest pretend owens sucked with the bad and like to justify that viewpoint with demolition so they acknowledge it, with jugulator kicking ass they can't allow it to be remembered and still sell that line.

I think they want to forget this album honestly, because of how good it is. This album in my honest opinion, is on par with a lot of their Halford stuff. They cant show they have a good album thats lacking their metal god. Thats why they still show Demolition. They want to show people the Ripper era happened but that it was mediocre at best. Which is a damn shame the Whole Juggulator Album is one of the most underrated metal albums ever released

The Best Album Judas Priest ever wrote. The most powerful of their albums from start to finish. Ripper Owens massive range and power stands foth with respect in each song. Yes Halford was first. But Halford could not belt these songs out like this. His scream is good and so is his power but it is 2 steps weaker than owens. It's a shame they got rid of Owens For Halford back just to sell albums.

IMO Priest's best work was when they combined soaring melodic vocals and guitars with hard driving rhythm. Most of my favorite stuff was done between '76-'84. The fact that Halford can still sing the way he does is incredible! Ripper is an awesome singer too- I just dont care for the thrashier material

this is way more riff focused and tighter and has better rhythm than their classic songs, also Ripper's vocals are soaring, so what you're saying is pointless

very nice man so laid back he loved pantera so im not surprised about Fight Ripper could have done more with two albums if priest once again let him and im sure most fans would have been ok with those but they just seemed to be going through the motions just biding time till rob returned not even rob could have saved those albums very bland and uninspired rock on my friend

For some weird reason, the printed album cover came out pixelated as hell. First time I've seen the cover in its full glory, despite owning it since it came out.

To be perfectly honest, whilst Rob Halford is undisputably better than Ripper (in his prime), I actually prefer the way Ripper sings. There is something far more primal and aggressive in his vocals.

And in addition to that primal, aggressive feel he has that fully fits metal, he also has no shortage of vocal power at all. I fully believe Ripper is one of the most underrated metal vocalists ever.

Apparently this album was recorded in late 1995 or early 1996, but Judas Priest were in need of a new singer at that time XD
