Lyrics:
Full moon is rising
The sky is black
I heed your call I'm coming back
The road is straight cast
Wind's in my eyes
The engine roars between my thighs
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love
Wild mountain thunder
Echoes my quest
My body aches but I'll not rest
Quartz light to guide me
Till sunrise leads
My passion screams, my heart it bleeds
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love
Then in the distance
I see you stand
On the horizon you raise your hand
In burning rubber
I end my quest
You fall into my arms at last
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love

Yeah, that's too bad he got Parkinson's. I can't help but wonder if it was caused by decades of head banging. I saw them in Tulsa many years ago and Glenn was head banging like crazy while playing. Halford was never an opera singer lol this seems to be a strange fan myth, which has no evidence nor does Halford talk about it himself, yet seems to spread because someone heard it from someone else. Similarly, the stuff above about false cord use and compression sounds like nonsense, but unfortunately there's a lot of vocal coaching about which creates all these strange terms.

I gotta say that Point of Entry is a helluva album. The production and guitar sounds are unreal. A bit popish, simple, accessible and powerful without the histrionics of the later thrasher years. Satisfies in some primal way like no other. Gets you to the subconscious realm with the quickness and keeps you there with the greatest of ease . Unrelenting riffs from deep within the belly of the beast...

I met Rob for all of 10mins back in 86' after the show here in MD...had NO PAPER, so Rob signed my arm & I took a couple crooked photos of him..rest of band was at the club "Hammerjacks" in Baltimore...I was dying to meet KK like all us young blonde women were, and at 18 we weren't allowed to even put a foot in the door of that club... @@shellwalsh3317 Now I gotta hand it to you, that was pretty much the most epic concert story I’ve ever had the privilege of discovering! Considering the era(mid 80’s), your age and gender makes your experience LEGENDARY as far as I’m concerned! Most folks haven’t the faintest clue just how exciting and thrilling the Priest live experience was(particularly the late 70s and thru 86/87ish)! I mean, think about it: a whole generation of kids whose parents were war babies had essentially the same amazing, fascinating, incredible, thrilling and dangerous pastime ritual...i.e. piling in the big old American car and driving way too fast while not wearing any seatbelts and chugging beer, smoking pot, and feathering our hair and having the absolutely greatest times of our life as teenagers coming of age in the Reagan years!!! Little did we know how great we had it, but we definitely knew one thing-that us rocker kids in the US could be 3000 miles away from each other and have essentially the same common experience and trade places with each other and we would tell pretty much the same stories anyway. Shoot, I saw Priest in ‘84 in Spokane, WA and Irvine Meadows, CA when I was 17 years old. Hell, if I was in MD in ‘86 I would probably have making awkward goo goo eyes at you in the parking lot before and/or after the show...LOL Holy Hell I love you!

Just after 1:55 or so you see Rob say "GodDamn" from the reverb in his face through the monitor then point to the sound man without throwing a fit like: "You see that man? All good thank you" . This is the stage etiquette that roadies dream of lol.

I was front and center for the Hell Bent tour. Saw the roadies setting up the explosions - but as soon as I heard the harley sound,,,,forgot all about them.....I'll never forget halfords hitting the front brakes - kicking his leg over the handlebars - and marched right up to the edge of the stage - raised his fist and BOOM !!! the first 5 rows all fell to the floor!!! I was the first one to get up !! Helped my buddy get to his feet - and they were balls - deep in Hell bent for leather--- glen was smiling-- my eyebrows were gone and I still can't here very well in my right ear 👊💥 true story. !! Smelled gunpowder for days -- that was the best day of my life !!🤘

I saw them in Louisville too, don't remember where, but is was mid to late 80s. I thought Halford was going to scream the roof off the place! I remember looking at the stage and thinking, is THAT humanly possible?
