There's a video, "Judas Priest on Jonesy" where he asks (towards the end of the video) if Freewheel Burning is a song from Stained Class. That's a song he'd been singing every night on the tour in 2018.

People calling Glenn ‘pathetic’ need to take a long hard look in the mirror. He’s getting on in years and suffering from a very cruel illness yet he’s still out on stage trying his hardest to entertain the fans. Most others wouldn’t be anywhere near a stage and would be sitting at home with their feet up. Show some damn respect for a true metal legend.

@david knichal They have already retired - Halford has lost his memory and, by all accounts, his mind. Tipton last tried to play live in 2019 and the struggle was real. @@connorjohnson4981 They have to make the show as convincing as possible, don't they. Amazing they'd go through that - for what? Except of course Glenn clinging on to the stage for psychological reasons. Anyway, if you've seen his appearances in the last few years, you'd have seen him deteriorate; the band themselves said that by the end of 2018 he couldn't play on more than two songs; and in 2020 Halford said he couldn't play anymore. The last you'll see Glenn play live is in May 2019 when he's clearly struggling. This here seems so smooth, it's unbelievable, especially knowing how cruelly Parkinson's progresses. And of course the camera is never on him.

I saw Judas Priest back in 1977. They were on the bill with Derringer and Led Zeppelin. Derringer iced Zepoelin but the real surprise was Priest also rocking harder than Zep. But if I had to use this band as an example of the raw power I saw that day, I’d be laughed out of Texas. They’ve stuck around too long.
