I'm an Englishman who grew up loving bands like Oasis, the Stone Roses and the Verve. But this band are immeasurable I adore their music.

No hard Feelings is indeed a strong song that evokes lots of thoughts about life... Love you lots the Avett Brothers. Thank you for this interview though it was so short!!

I love their music, and especially the poetry, truth, and grace that underlies their lyrics. What a gift to the world in these divided times.

I’m a full time musician, and I’ve always approached music from the “technical” side, where I’m usually listening for the rhythms/melodies/harmonic content, rather than the substance of the lyrics etc. However, after hearing No Hard Feelings, when lex Friedman interviewed Rick Rubin, I was literally moved to the point of tears.. because I felt (still feel) like I had heard the closest thing to a “perfect” song. (And I’m not the prototypical “emotional artist” type either ha) That level of Song writing chops isn’t something you can learn..It’s truly a gift On a side note, it’s unfortunate that virtue signaling doosh bag Judd Apatow ended up being the one to produce the documentary on such a generational talent

Judd Apatow is so very talented and seems so down to earth, and yet is so very hateful to those who disagree with him. Very weird.

This is what I wish modern musicians were like. No fuss, no ego, no stupid outfits, no over the top promiscuity, just music and heart.

Most of the comments here seem to miss the point of the Avett Bros message. Listen to the song discussed "No Hard Feelings".

Did I just hear NBC and their beautiful affiliate speak truth of the brothers, saying “run into the savior, true, and shake hands laughing? “ Meaning, Christ almighty with out a doubt no other interpretation.? NBC thank you so much for this one opportunity, just this one for telling the truth, turning the light on a band that speaks truth. Yes they have to do it in a way that is folk music and brotherly love but if you know these brothers, you know Christ is who they give all glory. Funny how they keep getting buried by disgusting pop music. Talking about photographic trash and death a band that is a bunch of loving brothers, who speak about the light are only brought in to media by a dark comedian who listened to the band, it was moved by the words the glory of God. I challenged anyone to listen to their music, first song to last on each album and not be moved not one part of thinking, whether that be religious, spiritual, or just simply love. I’m not religious I’m spiritual. Moved only by the glory of the light and having had a spiritual awakening. Listen to the album “I and Love and You” by this band
