Most snooker players are very level-headed, friendly and down to earth folk. I reckon it's the nature of the game - to be good at it, you have to be super calm and thoughtful. A lot of more dynamic aggressive sports require people to be loud, aggressive and wired all the time, which seems to naturally attract and also encourage a lot of childish, egotistic and aggressive behaviour. I also think the fact the money in snooker is still so modest compared to a lot of sports helps keep people more level-headed too. Once most folk start getting throw millions and millions of pounds for basically doing F all and being worshipped by tribalistic cults and media pieces, they start thinking they actually deserve all that ridiculous amount of money and attention, which naturally leads to deranged and narcissistic egotism.

Judd is a class act and a genuinely nice lad. I remember the first time I saw him play, it was such a shock bc he was tiny. It was at northern snooker in Leeds and he was prob only 13 but looked younger tbh. I still practice there and there's still a photo of Judd as a kid hung over table 12. Time flies

Judd's whole mindset in regards to snooker is all about stat-padding. He thinks that being above Davis in overall ranking wins will make him stand out. That's why the greatest player of all time 🐐Ronnie O'Sullivan & second greatest player of all time Mark Selby has won 8 of the last 13 World snooker championships. They won 4 World titles each ( 2012 2023 ) Judd Trump 1 World title in 2019. Took 15 years to achieve that (2005-2023) 1 world title. Standard is too high for Judd at the big tournaments.
