Hey Judd or anyone creating this content...I've noticed on some of the other sites to get sounds from there are WAV and MP3's and some other versions. I've noticed the WAVs are usually massive in size and so my question is, do you recommend sticking to MP3's for usage or can the newly created content will compress well enough on the upload as to not be an overall burden and issue? Also, Judd, Many thanks for your work here, I don't subscribe to all the methods associated with some of the various ways to make means to an end but I do dig a lot of what you put out.

In my opinion, I would stick to WAV's as they have a higher bitrate which means a higher crisper uncompressed audio quality. MP3 files are compressed and lower quality, they can handle about a third of the bitrate WAV's can. Also, youtube auto compresses videos that are uploaded on their platform, so if you use an already compressed MP3 file there will be a decent loss of quality in your sound. The bandwidth and time used to upload higher quality content will be higher than uploading a lower quality video. I am no expert but I hope that helps!

Just a heads up... KZbin doesn't like channels with repetitive video/audio content, and/or videos without some type of commentary to prove ownership of the content. It can feel like a punch to the gut when you get that demonetization email from KZbin after building up a successful channel.

@@jmaaklekh4671 The problem is you won't know until you get monetized (which can take a long time to achieve) whether KZbin will allow you to earn advertising revenue. KZbin doesn't like channels earning ad revenue for repetitive content because of all of the "get rich quick" channels using the same music and looping it for hours at a time. My channel was demonetized a few years back because my videos were all computer-generated piano tutorials. It wasn't until I started showing my face, and proving I had created the content, that they allowed me back into the monetization program. I ended up losing quite a bit of money.

@@jmaaklekh4671 Be sure to read the fine print of the music app. Can you monetize videos with their music? What happens if you stop your subscription, can you still use their music? How many others are using the same music? KZbin may still flag your videos as copyright infringement, just go through the appeal process to let them know you are legally using the music. They may also not like you looping it once you get monetized. Maybe you can add an extra sound effect in each loop to make it different? If you enjoy what you're doing, while making money, that's the best job ever! Best of luck to you!

OMG I don't know why I didn't think about saving a 30-minute video and then going back in the editing program and using that to make the longer video because on my phone, I don't have but just enough room to make a two hour videos so I feel so dumb for not thinking of that. Hey Judd, I'm a musician/percussionist who works with an amazing guitarist up here in the Yosemite area. We perform as a rock, RnB unit, but where we really earn our keep is as a musical duo. We are hired by many resorts, hostiles, and "glamp-grounds" to not only to entertain the guest, but to also get them out of their smartphones and to mellow out. We have found people meditating or doing yoga to our music. My idea is to put the music we make in this environment, record it, and add it to these videos. I have my own studio that I do for remote drum session-work, so we are good to go. We know about all the music copy write protection we must file as well. Following your advice here will help us greatly make YT videos for meditation, yoga, or task driven... the time frames are key. I've listened to Spotify's meditation music and no one even approaches why we do. I look forward to your mentorship on this idea. thanks ... - Jon

I enjoy rain, ambience, and ASMR videos myself(I make some and upload them to my channel if you want to check them out) I wonder if you can recommend any particular software for editing on PC. I've tried some free ones, but none of them seemed very good. The KZbin editor is not very reliable and doesn't have many functions.

Use a yt tool like tube buddy or vid iq. Free for basic and will help you find write keywords for titles

@@zenmixio I use unity engine with the high definition render pipeline. I bought some forest assets to build the scene with along with some others I made in blender and photoshop. as for programming, I added a light object and made it flash at a pseudo random interval, at the same time it would play a thunder sound with a randomised pitch so it doesn't get repetitive. I may make a video of how to make it on that channel its called NoodleTree
