Dude, Judes preformance in Road to Predition still haunts me to this day. He was so disturbingly good in it & I absolutely HATE how he barely gets any recognition for it.

The series was its own thing and overall a better adaptation of the books, but both interpretations are great in they own unique ways.

@@nox5870 - True, and it was really fascinating to watch them back to back and see the broad similarities and different approaches, and what each version changed. And both were good versions of the approaches they took. But I think series was better at being a subtle, series length art film than the movie was at being an, admittedly pretty good, melodrama.
