Trump said he rigged the election so, how can God choose someone that already made a a way for himself by cheating?? The point is so that one branch cannot have too much power. It’s supposed to be a big game of rock paper scissors. Judges have had the authority to block executive orders and laws that are unconstitutional after a full trial is conducted. But the judges are appointed by the executive branch. And congress can impeach judges. The president chooses who to appoint to cabinet positions but they must be confirmed by the senate. The president can veto laws passed by congress. But congress can override the veto with a 2/3rds majority vote. Courts can declare a law unconstitutional but congress can amend the constitution with a 2/3rds vote and the ratification of it in 38 state legislatures. It’s supposed to be this game of tug of war where one branch cannot win on their own since they all have ways to check each other’s power. That is the separation of powers.
