Judge Boyd denies application for deferred adjudication and sentences to 15 years in prison!

I have a friend who was hooked on Xanax and regularly blacked out with zero memory of anything. Once he was arrested for stealing a car; it was super cold out and he had to go to the V.A. early one morning and so he left his car running. When he got home he went back to bed, but his wife came in and asked who's car was in the driveway. He realized he'd taken someone else's car that was also left running so he raced back to the VA hospital where he saw the police so he parked the car he'd inadvertently stolen and went to his car, which was miraculously still running. He would've gotten away with it except he ran out of gas at the light right in front of the hospital and the cops arrested him. But this guy probably remembers putting a knife to someones throat, lets hope this 15 year stint gets him out of the habit of armed robbery.

Even if they don’t remember, the offense was still committed.
