It's so typical for small dogs, absolutely 😂 I hate the reputation big dogs has gotten, especially pitbulls, boxers and such, because they truly are lovely and caring animals *when raised responsibly.* Not everyone can have such dogs. It's truly sad when stuff like this happens. I feel so sorry for both the attacked dog and the dog that attacked (for having to be put down). Responsible ownership prevents such incidents. You should obiviously be vigilant while raising *any* dog, but clearly the bigger the animal, the bigger the damages and/or injuries, so you have to be extra careful if you're going to have a dog that have the potential of causing serious injuries or damages. Usually, small dogs have *way* bigger tempers, they just don't have the physical ability or strength to cause serious injuries like big dogs have. Small dogs (even those who are smaller than cats; which on a sidenote I find to be extremely weird.. no *dog* should be smaller than a cat, people have caused dogs so much damage by irresponsible breeding 😭) should absolutely be brought up with dicipline as well, they can absolutely cause damage, despite not being able to cause as much damage as for instance a pitbull. I notice way too many owners of all kinds of small dogs that only have them because they're "cute". Owners who barely train them (if they even train them at all), barely let them run around, play and all that dogs need and deserve. Too many people treat them as accessories, it's really sad. Just because they're small doesn't mean they're not *dogs.* Same goes for many owners of big dogs. So many people just leave them out in the yard, some on tight leaches, not giving them enough room to actually move around. Many barely get enough walks and exercise, unlike how many people think, it's not anywhere nearly enough to just have them in their yard, or even just inside the house. When you don't allow them enough exercise, they *will* get angry and possibly attack (which goes for dogs of all sizes; they just have different needs when it comes to how much exercise they need). People just need to stop getting animals they can't or won't take care of. You should never get dogs simply because "they're cute". If you really want a dog, you have to seriously consider what you can provide for them. You have to take into account how much you work, how much time you have to train and exercise them, what you can actually afford, if your living space is fit for the kind of dog you want (like, you can't get a huskey and such if you live in a tiny apartment in the city etc.) and so much more. You have to research what the kind of dog you want need, and if you're able to fully provide that. Think about what's best and proper for the dog instead of just getting something because you think it's cool, pretty or whatever. They're huge responsibilities for many years, every single day of the year. It saddens me to think about how many dogs out there who's being abused in all kinds of ways. It's disgusting. People are DISGUSTING. Cudos to every responsible animal owner out there! You're great! 😻

These comments are sad. Normally they make me laugh, but not today. Y'all are sitting here judging this woman like y'all all talk prim and proper everyday. I didn't notice her speaking until I read the comments. I was more concerned about the death of the dog at hand. I swear comment section can be just like high school. One person jump on somebody then the rest got to piggy back and do the same....smh shameful. Fine....everybody so pressed about her speech when it's more typos in half the comments than a 3rd grader. Well I want to talk about the fact that educated or not she obviously has raised a good son who comforted her in her time of need. Raised a son who spoke the truth in court. When the Judge asked the mom not to interfere the son continued without any additional help. They went to court and proved their case. I have 2 degrees and I still don't always talk in proper fashion. No one does! She tried. Now if she came in the courtroom half dressed talking really "ghetto" with multi colored weave y'all would still be big mad. Sad we find any reason to tear women down especially Black women. And furthermore the one's really judging the way she spoke which I thought was fine, is probably the vernacular most of you use on a daily. Find something else to do. As always judge Faith great job. Another beautiful black woman killing it. (No pun intended)🤔

It is people like this defendant that give pittbulls a bad reputation. BY HIS OWN EVIDENCE, this entire tragedy could have been EASILY avoided had he only used common sense and had his dog on a leash when he was outside playing with her. Had she been on a leash, he would not have lost control of her, she wouldn't have attacked the plaintiff's dog, neither dog would have been hospitalized or died, and they would not be in court suing each other. And then he has the nerve to come into court, LIE to the good judge not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES and make it out like it was the plaintiff's dog who attacked him and his pittbull. Shame on him.

And this is why everyone can’t be in law. It was not about the dog being small or barking animals will be animals, it comes down to liability which owner was negligent. He was clearly negligent based on he didn’t have his dog on a leash. If it was a case where both dogs were in area that dog leashes were not required or both dogs were on a leash then both parties wouldn’t be at fault because it was an accident.

Only for Videos what are talking about? It's only how the dog is trained and raised to be is how it acts with other people/dogs. The owners are the vicious ones teaching the pit or any other big dog to be vicious like them. My pitbull is scared of a little Chihuahua and neither one is mean. So tell me how they are in denial.

Also any big dog has lock jaw, when nesscesary
@musicallday60056 жыл бұрын
Only for Videos you are targeting people with pitbulls there are mutts and pitbulls are mixed with other dogs. That's why you rarely see a pure pitbull because people like you cower when you see one, that's why after one bite pitbulls are put down because of people like you, that's why other dogs are allowed into apartments, stores, and restaurants but as soon as people see a pitbull they are turned away. Small dogs can be vicious too, I have been bit more by smaller dogs than bigger. So you need to reevaluate your opinions on bigger dogs and truly open your eyes on how all dogs treat people/dogs based on how they are raised or trained.
@musicallday60056 жыл бұрын
Only for Videos not once have I said my dog is precious and not once have I said that pitbulls are perfect but you should reread what I wrote, it's based on how they are raised and/or trained. They are mostly used as fighting dog because when they do build muscle they get pretty big but then they are discarded like trash, they are not like us and have other people show us what's right or wrong, they just know what they have to do to survive. Your anger shows me that today's society has totally disregarded the pitbull. For example, the Germans taught the German Shepherds in ww2 to be aggressive to anyone who didn't have a German uniform on (the jews) but a lot of people have sweet and loving German shepherds. So you can't judge one whole breed of dog, one day you will meet a nice pitbull or mutt and love the hell out it, I was scared at first before I got my pitbull because he was big as hell but I got to know him and he was pretty nice.
@musicallday60056 жыл бұрын
Only for Videos also you are nitpicking my words I did not only say they get put down it was a question of how smaller dogs get more a chance. And I am just trying to educate you and just guessing how you are acting at a little debate you can't be that old. I had a cockapoodle and he was very very aggressive and untrainable so we had to give him away, I'm just trying to say not ALL pitbulls are aggressive just the only who are abandoned and trained to be aggressive, thank you for your time😘

People with small dogs always think small dogs can't be aggressive.

All my pit wanted to do was play. My small dog barks at everything that moves outside. My pit got hostile with someone once; someone was coming up behind me on the track. I said "come here" and that was that.🤷🏽♀️

My Jack Russel IS the aggressive 1 NOT our pit. Little dogs have a small dog complex they think their big bad dogs.

He said he hopes she doesn't have any animosity when they get back home because their neighbors. That might have been possible if you would have went to court admitted the truth and took responsibility for the dog's actions. But to go to court and try to blame their dog there will probably be a little animosity.

Any dog who just had a litter would attack any and everyone who seem a threat. The pit was being a pit
@YT4Me576 жыл бұрын
The owner should have been responsible and had it on a leash. Instead of a small dog, there could have been a small child caught up in that pit's teeth. Let the pit be a pit ON A LEASH.

pits were known as being really nice and calm back then; bad owners gave them a bad rep.

Yup. I was ripped up by a Chow that had just had a litter. I was 3 years old. I still have the scars. My mom insisted the dog be put down. My father's fault for taking a three year old to see a dog already known to be agressive, just had puppies (hours old), while said three year old still smelled of KFC from dinner. He still had the unmitigated gall to be mad at my mom for insisting the dog be put down.

If the dog was not his dog, how would he know and if the dog was his dog he would know that behavior from a Pit who just had a litter. See how no matter how he spins it he lied? He did not even have it on a leash and in his own words was not even near the dog at all.

The pit was being a dog that just had puppies. The stigma about pit bull behavior and temperament has gotten way out of hand. Any breed of dog can become vicious or dangerous. It comes down to needing and human treatment. I had 2 pits that were so complacent they got beaten up on by a kitten I brought home and never once fought back against that kitten even after she grew up and became a huge adult cat. Pt builds used to be the most common choice for nurse dogs (think Nana from Peter Pan- yeah, people really did once leave dogs to watch their kids).

I have a pitbull most gentle animal in the world. For anyone who finds them self in a dog fight you hold them up by their collar so they can’t breathe and have no choice but to let go and chill. If they don’t you can always kick them in the side too. Socialize, research and train ALL your dogs no matter what size

This poor boy, I know from personal experience how terrifying it is to be in the middle of a fight when a pit bull is trying to kill your dog. This kid is amazing for his efforts, its a shame Gent didnt live. My dog survived but our vet bills were almost $10,000
