As far as Court Shows on the small screen, in terms of entertainment this show has some of the best plaintiffs and defendants. That plus other factors not to mention the beauty of the Judge makes this one of the best. Just an Opinion.

It seems to me like the first plaintiff feels like she needs to buy his love. She offers to pay for him better mattress, she offers to pay for him to get a better apartment and then they break up and she wants to go whining to the judge that he owes her the money for all this expensive stuff she bought him. If it were truly a gift, she wouldn't have asked for the money back. If it were truly a loan, she should have had that clearly indicated in writing that she bought him the mattress and he owed her $1300 for it.
