@@prisilahernandez9620 My two kids knew that I just had to look at them a certain way (like I knew something) and said you might as well just tell me and they would always blurt it out right away. You also have to make it clear early on that if they tell the truth, you will stand by them and help solve the issue - but lie to me (or others) and you will be very sorry after I get to the truth. Pretty sure they understood that since they are now responsible adults who have always supported themselves and have never been in any trouble. My other big rule was you WILL get your high school diploma (and do your best) because you will need that to get further training and be able to keep a good paying job you like. Last thing - read to them a lot when they are young (the library is free) and encourage reading. Most people don't understand that kids who have been read to and then read a lot have a much easier life - homework/school is easier, understanding a new concept is easier, learning a new job is easier, and decision-making is easier. It is difficult to watch 'losers' on these legal shows because I know darn well they have had very little good parenting and they are now at this stage where they deny they are at fault and then are trying to lie their way through it.

But the man had a choice whether to rent his home out to section 8. If you don't want to deal with the housing voucher, just rent your home out at regular market price.
@sspe34565 жыл бұрын
@@MissKitae I know about section 8, and how the program works. I was just stating about the defendant who was complaining about him not receiving enough money from section 8. Even though income is guaranteed for property owners from section 8, some people don't like to rent out to those with the housing voucher program because they have to abide by the guidelines like making sure the property is rentable, and must pass inspection. And as the judge stated they base what they will pay you for according to the value of your property.
@mehmeh75675 жыл бұрын
staci diggs To be HONEST most folks who rent out property thru section 8 vouchers are “House flippers” meaning they’ll take an ABANDONED property and fix it up (Mainly thru Home Depot supplies and a couple of contractors)...They will then put that house up and please REMEMBER these landlords put themselves on the SECTION 8 list bc they KNOW that’s guaranteed MONEY....Then once that’s settled they then generate MONEY from that voucher Which again is a SURE INCOME VS a working class person who could lose their job at any time where the landlord has to pay court fees to evict that tenant...So believe it or not ALOT of people who flip houses actually work with subsidy due to GUARANTEED MONEY 😂😂😂....Speaking of Which let me holla at my homegirl tomorrow so I can get a little bit more info on a house that was going in FORECLOSURE due to certain tenants not abiding by the landlords RULES or whatever the hell that means bc I thought as long as the property is NOT VANDALIZED then how does that affect the stipulations of that “SAID” lease 🤷🏽♀️....CRAZY ain’t it 🤓 PS I kid you NOT I have a neighbor whose cool as heck however I was told 3 DIFFERENT prices she pay for rent 😳😳😳 Tf I’m getting charged MARKET rent and she’s getting charged next to NOTHING 😂😂😂 CRAZY how landlords actually GIVE IT UP 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😏
@sspe34565 жыл бұрын
@@mehmeh7567 it depends on what Neighborhood you live in. Not all landlords do the housing voucher program. I live in a suburb of Chicago, which is about 40 minutes from the city a few people do get the housing voucher program where I live but the next suburb over which is middle class and mostly homes, I doubt that there is people renting out to section 8, maybe a small percentage but not many. My first apartment which was in a middle class neighborhood of Chicago, they only had a small percentage of section 8, majority of the renters were those who worked blue collar jobs. I wasn't trying to debate about section 8 I was just stating that the defendant shouldn't complain about the amount that section 8 chose to give him.

I was dating a guy for about 4 months and he was so excited talking about a truck he wanted to buy. He sweet words me with " Let's go look at some trucks" I immediately said " I'll go with you for you to look at your truck" So he finds one and we're at the office , he doesn't have credit , well he has BAD credit. Which he lied about he's credit he told me another number but anyway, my credit is in the 790s and THEY asked me to co-sign for him. I said " they" because several people in the dealership came to his rescue 😂.I was firm in my answer and was NOT going to change it. Long story short , I said ' NO, I don't co-sign for NO ONE not even my mother' Apparently that was offensive for him and he called me selfish, entitled and arrogant because I couldn't help him out. I explained I'm NOT dating to help someone out and if that's what he thought when he decided to date me that's on him. In my opinion that was disrespectful and made him look like a BUM. I know situations happen but of you're not trying to fix them , you're over 30yrs old and you still need help from a woman that's a big turn off for me. I don't care how much charm you think you have. I don't lend money because I've learned from the past NOT to lend money and it irks me when a man asks me to borrow money, ask your momma, some family or close friends for it not someone you barely know. That's a BIG RED FLAG and a BIG NO for me.

That 2nd case was correct as spoke of this on various journaling, the housing program is not dependable even if have a government shutdown. The ever rising cost even if become an LPN w/ 1 or 2 children, need some help or inherit a home or have to live out studios. It is too complex to find a place on housing, bc barely any property manager will accept it everywhere or have to compromise on 'bout it area! What he went through w/ housing is very similar experience what going through w/ childcare. Yep, paying all the childcare on thy own. The case worker pretending she not receive it, even though the device show that it was received or opened. It's crime to be economically challenged.

Side note: If you have to say things like i don't remember you know you DID IT. I can't even accept money from random strangers. I prefer to make my own money on my own than make someone feel like I'm taking advantage of them and not pay them back money I owe them that they loaned to me.
