Being vindictive, she needs to run the narrative. She wanted to cause an issue so she made him bring the child back earlier than agreed. He didn't fight her over it, he just brought her back which initially pissed her off because she didn't get the reaction she wanted, so she resorted to trying to start another confrontation with him when he got to her house, instead of entertaining the drama he got in his vehicle to leave. She wanted him to argue but he didn't and it made her mad so she escalated to the rock, none of it worked, and he called the police. The game is to get a rise out of him period, it makes her mad he's being a good father and not fighting with her.
