Not shocking at all, the case never should have been brought. The president can declassify documents at will, like when he authorized those documents to be taken as part of his archives. The only documents in the government the president can't do that for are certain documents related to nuclear weapons, which require congressional approval to declassify, but for everything else the President can decide to declassify at any time.

Judge Cannon followed the law. We used to be a country of laws and it would be lovely if we got back to that fundamental ideal. Compare her policy to that of Merchan who refused to hear defense witnesses, wouldn't accept objections from defense lawyers but accepted every objection from the prosecution, refused to recuse himself from the trial when his family was benefiting from the trial. It isn't a "break" for Trump. It is the process of the law.
