Clemons vs Powell…my thoughts: The only reason I’m even commenting is because I have family with mental illness. I absolutely believe the defendant! You can look at the plaintiff and her behavior and tell she suffers from some sort of mood disorder. And if he did hit her, I’d not uncommon or unlikely that she would have went back. Individuals who have her type of disability don’t usually make good decisions and probably shouldn’t even be left alone.
