You will find your answer here. It was actually Byrd's wife Makita who encouraged Byrd to call judge judy. Byrd had been caring for his wife with brain cancer and that's when he got the news. I'm really happy for Byrd now, he was called by Judge Judy's people earlier this year. New show judge judy is producing. The show is similar to hot bench there will be 3 judges. You can see it free on Amazon soon. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I encourage people to watch his interview on The RealDayTime TV show 1yr ago. He said some similar things in every other intrrview he did but added more of his views, the truth and what he takes away from it. I used to love judge judy she was so generous and lovely to me during the short time I knew her, and I've met her and Byrd, Byrd is a great person, so kind. When the news was reported I think it was last year about Byrd being ditched by judge judy, I like many others was upset. I saw that as betrayal. In all his interviews Byrd said the same thing about what happened and how he felt. On the RealDayTime Tv interview he said after encouragement from his wife to call judge judy, he did that. judge judy asked about his wife's health answer to his question were your people going to call me to participate in your new show?' judge judy told Byrd and he said her exact words were' No you priced yourself out of being a ballif. His response was how could I price myself out if you didn't ask me? Byrd also said his thoughts were what happened to good faith? When asked about his relationship with judge judy he said ' we were always friendly and cordial, however not everyone who's friendly is your friend'. Very profound! So after playing dirty on Byrd, betraying him now realizes what a jewel she threw away asks him to come back. I couldn't trust someone who did that to me. However I wish Byrd and his wife Makita the best.

The Best Judge Judy of all the Court Judges on TV
@flashalexander3365
@flashalexander3365 2 жыл бұрын
Early on I was taken aback by her bruskness, especially since I was transitioning from the affable Judge Millian of The Peoples Court. After watching for some time I realized Judge Judy knows the law and really carves a path to the facts of the case with great respect for the law. Watch several of her cases and you will see how those that don’t understand or value the law get upset by her. It wasn’t personal but rather legal justice. Yes, she certainly injects her personal feelings. Don’t all the TV judges do that? But despite what she feels about the litigants, she makes her rulings based upon the facts of the case. Watch the show with the three judge panel and contrast how they sometimes rule, especially Judge Michael Correlon who can get so emotionally involved that he throws the “law” out the window. Personally I feel those who have a personal distaste for Judge Judy value their personal feelings as well as those of some litigants more than the rule of law. As Judy would say; “snowflakes”.

Judge Judy has always been my favorite. I totally get that she has the right to have whoever she wants to work on her new show. However, after 25 years working for the Judge Judy show Officer Byrd deserved to at least have a conversation with him as to why he wasn’t offered a spot on Judy Justice. It’s a shame Byrd has to find out through the grapevine and had to call her to find out about her new show and why he wasn’t asked to participate. I love Judy but I truly thought she had more class than this.

Judge Judy started when I was 10 years old in 1996 and my mother was a fan and I watched it with her and then as I got older I became a fan and I really enjoyed Byrd. I thought they were friends but as he's put it in many interviews and many videos that I've seen on KZbin they were friendly not friends so basically it seems to me anyway she treated him as her coworker. I mean she needed to have the capacity the moral compass as she puts it to her litigants or as she put it to her litigants in the older judge Judy episodes that I know of to call him and be respectable to him I mean he stood by her side through thick and thin for two and a half decades she owed him at least a phone call morally.

While I applaud most of what she says, and I've enjoyed her show for many years, I take issue with the statement: "We are the best country in the world." This is a problem with Americans - they are oblivious to the rest of the free world; many countries have the same rights and freedoms as the U.S.. Here in Canada, we have the same rights and freedoms. And as a bonus, we haven't got the ridiculous gun laws and the never ending gun violence. AND we have free health care. But, I would never state that Canada is the best country in the world. I have never lived in other countries, so I would not make such an arrogant statement.

Oh God 🤦🏽‍♀️ it's not free, you all pay for it and you pay alot. Don't try and front to us Americans, we see what the cost is for Canada on everything we purchase. That plus all the other taxes it's absolutely ridiculous. We have great health care here and we get help FAST. I called a Dr office of my choosing on Monday, had my appointment on Tuesday, my test results back by Thursday and filled my prescription at the pharmacy on Friday for a fraction of the original cost. And I don't even have insurance what so ever, all you have to do is download an app that just give you medical discounts. More like, she gave Byrd an amazing opportunity (which came with a great salary) for twenty-five years. Byrd did look constantly tired and annoyed in the latest seasons of the show, so why not change things up? It seems like a win-win for everyone.

I don't like the new show at all but I grew up on judge Judy I enjoyed the old show but hearing what she did to Byrd really just made me lose a lot of respect for her cuz I said this in so many other different posts and I'll say it again she always tells her litigants and in the past have always told them you need to have a moral compass you need to have ok well where's hers because morally he deserved a phone call and an explanation and he didn't even get that from her until he contacted her and all she said and I quote was you priced yourself out.

Yeah I would definitely think after doing judge Judy for 25 years last I checked her net worth is $420 million dollars I would think she'd be like okay I'm done I was a lawyer for how many years I sat in family court for how many decades I did judge Judy for two and a half decades I'm worth all this money I got plenty I'm good I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the rest of my life.

@@sbaby-np5hy Contrary to popular American belief, life isn't just about money. If people don't have a purpose in life and things to occupy their minds with, everything else becomes pointless. You can have all the money in the world and live a very miserable life inside a castle.

*Never liked her...She is a Bully, and in this life you should treat people as you yourself would expect to be treated. I never once in all these years(Hell Decades) saw one sense of Humility or humbleness...or Kindness out of her...Now if she was playing a Character that would be totally different ...How truly sad that's it's not!!*
